There are officers of a international union who are responsible for thousand of members ,and by the very nature of the job are required to have high degrees to deal with company lawyers ! Through the efforts of unions there are things like child labor laws, 40 hr work week, insurance, sick pay, increased safety,vacations , and the list goes on and on !
