"Union fat-cats...myth or reality?"

So...you think labor unions are run by cigar chomping "Union Fat Cats", who receive outrageous salaries and benefits, while living a life of luxury comparable to Saudi Arabian Princes, lording their unrestrained power over the entire United States of America... all on the backs of the union-enslaved workers they represent. Here's your chance to prove it.

“Every ounce of Republican leaders’ effort was poured into passing right-to-work before any other legislation would be touched, and it has brought no benefit whatsoever,” says David Fagan, chairman of Lunch Pail Republicans. “What is surprising is that the Commerce Secretary still has the courage to claim success based on such weak indicators as phone calls and magazine articles.”

Just four years after the worst shock to the economy since the Great Depression, U.S. corporate profits are stronger than ever. In the third quarter, corporate earnings were $1.75 trillion, up 18.6% from a year ago, according to last week'si gross domestic product report. That took after-tax profits to their greatest percentage of GDP in history.

But the record profits come at the same time that workers' wages have fallen to their lowest-ever share of GDP.Source:CNN Money PSSSST, dont think corporation give a ratsa** if workers have a voice

Hey oneill! Have you heard about the city of Stockton, CA declaring bankruptcy while owing the California Public Employees Retirement Account approx. $900,000,000? Remember how I used to argue with you and LilyOvalley how public employees were tax revenue absorbers rather than creators?

Well, ole Buddy, Stockton will probably prove to be just the tip of the iceberg.

Two of the indicted educators accused in the Atlanta Public School cheating scandal have turned themselves in to the Fulton County Jail early Tuesday morning. The 35 educators, including former superintendent Beverly Hall, must surrender on Tuesday. They all face charges of racketeering, theft by taking, influencing witnesses and making false statements. A grand jury hearing the APS case suggested a $7.5 million bond for Hall. If convicted, she faces up to 45 years in prison.

Giving workers a voice in the workplace, that IS collective bargaining, as far as people not wanting to work for 5$ an hour, in the 50`s, corporate taxes were 5-6% of GDP. they now hover at decades low 1%, meanwhile govt takes a big bite of GDP, and who makes up the difference middle income workers in the 30,000-50,000 range, so they would work for 5$ an hour if the corporate world let them afford to. contact wrong riki at a**hat wearin.dum

Munster, naturally NAFTA would not have anything to do with the manufacturing job losses during that time period...now would it??? you may wish to get away from your wrongformichigandot org blog. there's some funny logic going on there kingfish. right to work laws had absolutely nothing to do with the manufacturing job losses you are touting. other jobs were created by nafta, but unfortunately manufacturing was not one of them. as you are aware, textiles play a big role in the jobs in both of the carolinas and were decimated by NAFTA. check out the real story if you like. it is out there.
