"Union fat-cats...myth or reality?"

So...you think labor unions are run by cigar chomping "Union Fat Cats", who receive outrageous salaries and benefits, while living a life of luxury comparable to Saudi Arabian Princes, lording their unrestrained power over the entire United States of America... all on the backs of the union-enslaved workers they represent. Here's your chance to prove it.

Except the word is the republiduds are going to sit on their hands for 2 more years for fear of doing something that they can be held accountable for thus maybe hurting their chances at the white house !I can see that , after all they been really good at it for the last 6 years !

" punish success and reward failure." straight from the rights talking points ! Really , your republiduds are far from perfect and they will now have their turn under the microscope !

Absolem I wouldn't hold my breath for anything thats not a regurgitated RNC talking point. Because that's all I'm hearing here ! And still NO SOLUTIONS ! If everything is bad then your side must have a solution or two !

Show us solutions that do not punish success and reward failure. Btw..you did not initially ask for solutions. You may wish to do that first.

Ohwiseone

Still no solutions, just criticism ! Show me all the solutions republiduds have put forth that don't directly benefit their wealthy benefactors !

Where was mr buffets conscience all those years when he made his massive fortune via Capital gains? How about he just gives his secretary stocks and she too can pay his rate

absolem

OWO...and who do the Democrats blame? Certainly not each other. Mr. Buffet can make a voluntary payment to the treasury at any time to alleviate his and your concern..should you both desire. No account number required.

And still all you get from the republiduds here is everything is the democrats fault !I do believe there is plenty of fault to pass around ! The key here is when you finally have a fair tax( wont happen because the wealthy would finally have to pony up) there will still be those who complain ! Just why did the richest man in America(Warren Buffet) say his secretary pays more taxes than he does ?

The nice thing about math is its fair. To pay a percentage treats EVERYONE fairly. EVERYONE should pay tax but it should be at the exact same rate and YES even the bottom 47 percent. The rate of taxes is NOT an accurate reflection of the rate paid, all those hidden taxes are paid by the consumer in addition to the marginal rate.

* does not represent reality. I need a better phone!

While individual income taxes may be at historic lows, it does do not take into account the total taxes that the average American pays. The sheer number of various taxes have outpaced the number of revenue sources that the average American people receive. focusing only on income tax rates to grade tax burdens really does represent reality.

For most Americans, taxes were lowered through the stimulus package passed in 2009 and extended to 2010, and they were also lowered in the tax compromise between Obama and Republicans. Current rates are at historic lows compared with ones from 1955 — when the numbers started being tracked — through 2007.
