Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

hey Shop...give "Don't Misunderstand Me" a whirl by The Rossington-Collins band. i read where a memeber of Skynrd stated that he has originally wanted the band to sound more like Molly Hatchett. interesting.

Southern rock as one of it's finest. Gainesville has been a hot bed for quite a few talented bands. if you like Skynrd...you have got to check out the les paul forum website. Ed King posts there and provides videos from time to time. in addition Joe Bonamassa posts as well as provides great instructional videos. Elliot Easton of the Cars also posts from time to time.

Coal...glad you checked it out. it is played alot different than i first thought and i will check out Nickelnback...although i have never really been a fan....but for you my friend i will. tell you what, if you haven't learned it yet....throw on RUSH 2112 and play it (having a good Jim Dunlop cry-baby wah will help)....as a kicker...give "Train to Bangkok" a whirl. if the air around you is say...a little opaque...it will help. :-)

Absolem, i dont shy away Ace was a great influence on young men of my generation despite the clown get up. However nothing pleases me more than hearing the trio of Steve Gains, Alan Collins and Gary Rossington

Hey Shop...no need to shy away from Ace. He probably single-handedly inspired more guitarists than Hendrix. They were Guns-n-Roses with theatrics in the 70's. frankly, to me all of the first four albums just rock and culminate into the masterpiece that is ALIVE! i have always enjoyed playing Parasite and Black Diamond. "She" is pretty good as well. it took a bit to get the speed up on the break....but i got it. a fun little number to play is "Domino". love the video as well...especially the Gas Pump scene. the look Gene gives her just says it all. i love the line..." Everytime that b itch bends over, i forget my name...yeow"

O.K......well if you fellas are going to leave me and go woodshed, then i am gonna grab me a handful of vintage mahogany neck and spank the plank. see you fellas tomorrow sometime. have a great evening...quick tip...try playing your acoustic with a penny instead of a pick....especially if the strings are a bit on the dead side. it adds a bit of brightness.

if you fellas like a little funk....give a listen to Mother's Finest. the song "Baby Love" is a good place to start...then kick it in with "Rain". Shelia E's "Love Bizarre" is fun to play.
