Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

NCN said, "seriously, you really think Obama wants ww3...just what will he gain from this??...".

That will be an effect of Obama's efforts AFTER he leaves office. He's been doing his best to diminish the capabilities and staffing levels of the US military. If he removes enough of our military to solve arising situations conventionally, our remaining alternative will be to answer serious threats with nukes. I would say that WOULD put the responsibility for ultimately starting WWIII squarely in his lap. If it unfolds that way and international situations goes to sh!t, after he leaves office, he'll be proclaiming, "It wasn't my fault!".

To be completely honest with my opinion, I don't think he gives two shakes about his 'legacy'. I believe he wants to take us close enough to the brink, with all that he has done to subside American prestige, that we WILL BE on a road to either fight or die.

Did Bush, whom many here despise, leave us with only those two options?

All any president can do is make decisions based on what he's told ! (fluffy mcpantload)

You see bewrite , thats your problem , if you look backward everything is 20/20 ! All any president can do is make decisions based on what he's told ! You on the other hand have the luxury of hindsight so you should never be wrong ! When we left Iraq there was a sitting government but we all know that based on their culture the strongest will rise to lead ! And in reality ISIS is small potatos , they could never have any hope of matching our troops in a stand up fight !

When Obama pulled out everyone from Iraq leaving a leadership vacuum, he allowed militants to morph into ISIS. He also announced in that ISIS was “Minor League”. He has allowed Putin to make Obama look like a clown. He may not want WW3 but he is not good at this foreign policy thing. Even the left will admit to that. Iran swears to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and the State sponsors bill boards saying “Death to America”. If you beleive the Mullahs want Nuke power to light of the new fast food chains that will storm into Iran once the sanctions are lifted, then you live in Obamaland.

NCN...don't be so dismissive regarding the role of Obama or any President in initiating whther willingly or not to what may be termed WWIII. the federal government does a have a C.O.G. plan inplace as well as many other protective and defensive systems to protect those at the highest levels of governemnt. with as many players as we have in conflict on the world stage at the moment, it would not take much to "light the fuse" so to speak. it is my hope that somehow... now is not the time.

Are you so BLIND that you can not see Obama's strategy (for peace?) is, in reality, setting the stage for WWIII commencing around this decision to placate the Iranians.

Ohwiseone

Are you so naive that you think Israel will ever let them complete a weapon ? And besides that , Israels nuclear arsenal would make their country one big cinder !

'Friendly Arab' supplied (Iranian) $2/gallon gasoline prices...just long enough to drive the upstart drillers in the US out of business and then, hold onto your seats America.

NCN...my initial thought is that the ratings may be based on the agree/disagree counts associated with the articles and polls.

Gentlemen...please..i am not so vain as to actually keep count...but in this case i did. it is interesting to see the listings change and reveal how many participate in some way but not on these particular forums. next time you log in...scroll on down to near the bottom to see not only the top rated users but the most active items in this forum section. i am surprised you have not been aware of that feature before now.
