Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

Interesting topic, Absolem, only in a liberal mind is hating someone when u shoot them worse than just disliking them. A conservative sees a murder, a liberal sees a cause

So....all gun violence is spawned by hate? Is that your contention? It sure seemed to be. Is it hostility against another..probably...yes. grounded in hate...not always. If your point is to somehow equate recent forms of terrorism overseas to non-suicidal or accidental shootings is a sttetch...don't you think? I despise both and find them totally unnecessary in most cases.

Um, maybe you didn't have a watch, and I do(id). Why might you consider it to be appropriatable ?

Oh wait...I hated that you did not give it to me freely....is that what you meant by hate?

If I murder you for your watch. Did I hate you or just want your watch? It is possible to hate you but I really just wanted your watch.

Good morning to you,.... absolem. You can, not have this discussion. That is entirely your choice. And, I encourage you to revisit the definition of hate.It hasn't changed.

Hostility doesn't always equate to hate....but I undersyand your point...I hope you see mine.

Mod....are most gang related gun deaths fueled more by profit from related activities or by hate? Is the jealous husband or wife that kill due to betrayal or hate. Hostility against another person has many roots from which to blame. Terrorism verses the many reasons why Americans kill are world's apart in their purpose and scope. It would be preferable to not even have to have this discussion...Bro.

NYT: When Americans think about deaths from guns, we tend to focus on homicides. But the problem of gun suicide is inescapable: More than 60 percent of people in this country who die from guns die by suicide.

there are multitude of causes of gun deaths in the United States, while one may argue that some homocides are indeed fueld by hate, most non-suicide deaths are not perpetrated simply by hate, there are so many other factors. true most people do not shoot other people out of love....but your blanket reason of hate is dubious and a stab in the dark at best.

barring domestic mass shootings, most are committed with purpose directed at an individual or several known individuals. the foreign terrorits target people and buildings indiscrimanantly. perhaps your broad defitnition of domestic terrorism is a bit askew.

Moderation, you really don't see the difference?

It has pertinence, but it is does not get 'the' premier status.

Ahhh but how many were murders committed by people legally allowed to own a firearm? That is the pertinent question

By mid- December 2015, there had been 12,942 reported gun related deaths in the good ol' USA. Suicides and accidental shootings were but a very small proportion of that number. With due consideration to all foreign terrorist caused deaths, we have our own homegrown, domestic terrorist issues. What is it about our culture that can't recognize the fact that these acts are treated as being more acceptable, even with greater incidents, than those perpetrated globally ? Being emotionally generated, the acts, both in country and around the world, are generated by hate.
