Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

indirect payment for services rendered through a business venture. other than our recent back and forth....btw i really liked the "boy" that you slipped in on me in your comment the other day. you never disappoint. anyway, i was rifling through a box of old coins that i have yet to catalogue and came across a coin from the civil war years. it was an 1865 three cent piece. the condition seemed to me to be VF which would indicate very little circulation. although the condition of the coins affect the monetary value to collectors, i enjoy the circulated coins the most. my favorite are the morgan silver dollars of the late 1800's. imagining people carting around more than about thirty of them would have been a pain as they are fairly weighty. the imbedded dirt, grime and wear on them all have a story to tell. i prefer to leave them as they are so as not to remove history from them. tell me fred, what items from the past prompts you to imagine the many hands they have passed throu

Los Angeles area and earlier had resided in New Jersey, used a Smith & Wesson 223 M&P15 rifle to gun down Hernandez and other individuals at LAX, authorities said. That weapon is a gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle." the weapon used was not an assault rifle by definition. i was pleased to see a national news agancy correct themselves after inially posting that an "assault" rifle was used. with that said. your mention this carrying of firearms indicating a problem is indeed true. although the argument comes down to what is the actual problem? much like the simple fire triangle which requires fuel, heat and oxygen, the disturbed shooter requires threat(heat), weapon(fuel), and mental disposition(oxygen). which does the left desire to remove from this triangle? if i am amoung your little to do contributors....rest your mind that the fruits of my inactivity do not come directly from our governments much stressed financial resources. truthfully, i do receive indirec

good afternoon fred. everytime you post you give the opportunity for a sometimes interesting rebuttal. that may be the teacher in you coming through or just a grumpy old man peeved for another day. either way it works. upon a minimum amount of reseach i found the following article by Jacob Goodman. "During the same week that a lone 23-year-old gunman shot up Terminal 3 at Los Angeles International Airport, killing a TSA behavior detection officer, no less than 29 other firearms were discovered by TSA screeners in airline passengers’ carry-on luggage in other airports across the country, of which 27 were loaded and nine had rounds in their chambers.""In most instances, the passengers whose weapons were discovered told TSA officers that they had simply “forgotten” that their weapons had been packed in their carry-on bags, according to a weekly summary presented in a published TSA blog entry. ""The alleged murderer, Paul Ciancia, who recently had been living in t

So no Fred, I did not "screw up" as you hopelessly hold on to. I sent it to the N&S with the Times option. The Times thought it was important and relevant enough to put it in their paper.

"but now you have become merely boring!"

But obviously not so boring because you need to stroke your ego by trying to get back at me..even though you have failed to counter my statements about that letter with anything other than Limbaugh-like bluster.

"you can't seem to understand that it was YOU that screwed up,"

My good grief you lie with such ease. Or perhaps you are just delusional, I'm not sure anymore considering how many times you've been told something and you completely ignore it. Let me walk it through for you slowly.

1. The N&S and the Times are not of one mind. 2. Each paper may choose to publish a LTE or not without regard to what the other paper does. 3. The N&S tends to publish letters on Sundays while the Times does it throughout the week. Meaning that a letter appearing at the N&S on a Sunday might not appear days later at the Times...if at all. 4. I wrote my reponses to the N&S and clicked on the option to also include it at the Times. The Times chose to print it while the N&S did not.

Oneill. The LAX shooters dad also called Pa police to say he was concerned his son was unstable and suicidal but you choose to pinpoint the fact he used a gun... You have side stepped the root issue of him having mental problems which I call foul on you !!!

spotlighted the adjective to describe your candidate and subsequently elected President. the adjective that you use is only a half-truth in reality...but then again when has telling the truth been a priority? while you are touting how he is the first at something, please remember this.. he is also, the first black President to lie, deceive and mislead the American people. don't forget to include that information in the history books for our future generations to understand why they are where they are in history. on a personal note i wish to say that during the entire time we have conversed i have yet to call you a yankee, degrade your heritage or insult where you live. with that said, to paraphrase a favorite bible verse " forgive them for they know not what they do." in the future you may wish to forgive others trespasses as many do you. enjoy your day fred.

good afternoon fred. i trust you are well. i thought about the concern you raised regarding my conscience. it is indeed comforting to know that you care enough to call it into question. it must mean you care. cue any bread or carpenters song to enchance the mood. after much thought i have come to the conclusion that my conscience is just find regarding our conversation and the issues you presented. your offense to my political humor, my relationships, my heritage, my life experience, my South in general, your glossing over of child abuse in schools, and general animosity toward someone you neither fully know or understand simply because you disagree belies your own prejudice and underlying anger. one little note of interest. you and the democrats do not own the word black or any of its applications in the world. you and your MSNBC breathen seem to think the word is your exclusive right with the ability to apply any meaning you desire. you and they have consistently and continuously sp

good afternoon rocker. it took long enough didn't it? what is really alarming is how long most in the media have run cover for his failures... which have been many. it has been my impression that they did not want their "product" to fail. to the american people he has failed but to those in charge he must be succeding....he is still in office isn't he????? you know the scat is deep when chris matthews goes from a thrill up the leg to having some dribble running down it. does anyone in the democratic party not have the heart to tell "Teflon Barry" to stay on the golf course and keep his mouth shut.....i have to tell you, he is no Joe Biden. Biden be the schnizzle. btw, long time, no speak. how have ya been?

Ha ha it looks like obamas job approval rating has further dropped like a rock. Only 39% approve.

Finally people are now on to his lies and deceptions. He should be impeached!

And to try to appeal to the mature individual you are suppose to be, have I called you anything other than Fred on here? Show some class and at least use my name properly.

"The folks at the TIMES probably didn't know what you were talking about.."

So...are you calling them stupid? Ignorant?

Seems that they knew exactly what I was giving them.

And I might point out that until you have a name change to God, just saying I am wrong means nothing. You seem quite angry that I have shown you to be wrong but you are not angry enough to back up your accusations that I am incorrect with anything other than your well aged bluster. Am I to assume this beahvior of yours will not be changing anytime soon? You know what the definition of insanity is right? ;)

Yet you feel the need to dazzle us with your elementary insults. You are very confused.
