Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

Is the Obamacare rollout going so well that there is just nothing to report?

Well said Kendall. I give our president the benefit of the doubt because I respect my fellow Americans. BUt I will sure voice my opinion too. I do not understand why there was not more input when this bill was discussed in the beginning???? NO it was ramrodded thru by a bunch of CooKoo Democrats that ran roughshod over the Republicans from DAY ONE and now they are whining and blaming EVERYTHING on any republican that is standing still. One hel1 of a way to run a country. !!! A president couldnt be screwing up this much by accident ???? Could he ???? Why in the world is BIden not wading in there and helping out for Chris t sake..????? It is his JOB !!!!!

Honestly, I hope Obamacare works out. The old system was doomed to failure and the vast majority of politicians on both sides agree on that. Are there problems with Obamacare? Of course but whether or not those in charge modifies and fixes those problems is what matters.

But let us also be painfully honest here and use Animal Farm as the example again. If we (the American public) were like Benjamin the Donkey and standing out in this political storm...what are we seeing when we gaze through the glass of our televisions at congress? Are we seeing two distinct groups fighting for what's best for us poor working class animals? Or are we seeing a bunch of pigs that look alike, sound alike and act alike, who care more about themselves than us?

@Fred- my friend...I do not have blinders on as some people do on here. I blame everyone for this failure. Republicans, Democrats and the Administration have all failed in recent weeks.

You say my letter was silly, yet you do not offer any facts to support that claim. You offer nothing but your biased opinion.

We all agree that Obama defeated Romney. That is all that happened. There was no fine print at the bottom of ballot that said that a vote for Obama equals a positive vote for Obamacare. If you apply that kind fo thinking to politics, then it could be said that whatever Bush did was approved by the US population because Kerry lost. I don't think you would agree with that would you?

Democratic leaders who run the District of Columbia are rapidly losing patience with their Democratic colleagues in Congress and the White House, lashing out at them over the partial government shutdown and questioning their overall strategy. The District already is dealing with lost tourism revenue, as some would-be visitors change vacation plans, knowing that D.C.'s top attractions like the Smithsonian museums are closed. But unlike other cities, Washington, D.C., also is not allowed to spend locally raised funds during the partial shutdown -- due to its unique status as federal district. City leaders have campaigned to have that restriction lifted, but so far only the Republican-led House has voted to allow it. The impasse has D.C. Democrats suddenly on the side of Republicans, and publicly challenging Democrats. The tension came to a head on Wednesday, when D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray crashed a Senate Democrats' press conference on Capitol Hill. Gray was attending a nearby rally.

At least eight Democratic members of the House were among about 200 people arrested Tuesday after they blocked a main street near the Capitol during a massive rally seeking to push Republicans to hold a vote on a stalled immigration reform bill. Police would not identify those arrested. Representatives of the social policy organization Center for Community Change and The Associated Press witnessed the arrests of Reps. John Lewis, D-Ga.; Luis Gutiérrez, D-Ill.; Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz.; Keith Ellison, D-Minn.; Joseph Crowley and Charles Rangel, both D-N.Y.; Al Green, D-Texas; and Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., BUT THE REPUBLICANS ARE NUTS...

Just before the weekend, the National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida that the Florida Bay was “closed” due to the shutdown. Until government funding is restored, the fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown.

They put up barracades to an open air WWT memorial in Washington. That would like closing the boat ramp or Muskingum Park if the City of Marietta shut down.

It is just a memorial. Also, when the WW2 Veterans went around the barracades there were Park Service Police looking on. Smell like the Sequester BS all over again. Inflict the maximum amount of pain to get your way.

Why doesn't the president just hold his breath until the Rebulicans buckle?

I think they quit paying the people that run the park BeRight. Same as the veterans sites in DC. No one there to collect money or give tours.

How do you shut down the "Grand Canyon" or Yosemite National Park? I saw a picture of Yosemite and the Park Service blocked of a 4 lane highway? Why could people not use the d a m n road? Makes no sense. Think about it.

good morning moderation! i hope all is well in your world. i agree, a strong plan it is not. however it is a safe and legal plan, as well as one that will administer itself. besides, i can deduct it off of my taxes as a gift! how great is that?! hmmm being from down south, i always thought that sugar and caffeine were a "food" group all unto itself. go figure.
