Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

BeRight. WalMart employees pay is below the level so they can all qualify for the Family Earned Income Credit on their taxes which I think is about $3300 per dependent. I think !! Not sure that is what they are talking about but the rest of us taxpayers are subsidizing their low pay with our income taxes. While their CEO's and VP's all make a slight amount above the average low wage (sarcasm intended). Plus bonuses of course.

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." BeRight, according to a CNN report, those subsidies are based on a decades worth of "use of tax breaks, free land, cash grants and other forms of public assistance." keep in mind that those "subsidies" are all legal, legitimate and available for any business entity that that is approved based on federal, state or city guidelines. the one thing that the article pointed out was that for every "subsidy" dollar "invested", a return of thirty dollars was realized. thats a respectful return. unlike many of the recent "union" subsidized debacles. just like with the announcement of a third bailout of greece, one would have to marvel at the denial in the failure of the socialist or democratic business/political model. one observation i have had lately has been that we have become a nation of whim, fancy and denial. truly a recipe for diaster.

Explain this to me. I just read this: Our Walmart, the union group organizing protests, contends that "the average Walmart store" costs taxpayers $1 million a year in government subsidies.

It is a terrible thought to think that the liberal media is hounding Hillary for 2016 and saying she has it won hands down already. One can never say "It cant get any worse".

I surprise some people if I can. I am no great fan of these people unless they stand up for what is right and moral for the citizens. Most of them think we are stupid cattle that what we dont tear up we poo p on.

Do you think Maybe the Unions occupying the state house, MSNBC doing live reports of the protests and the recall attempt may have put a small damper on job creation? Maybe the unions scared off potential job creators? In spite of that unemployment is down and he has had the best 2 year job creation record compared to his predecessor.

Successful ? How so? How about his job creation, or should I say, the lack of success in that area ?

Mod: you must be retired and no longer need to actually deal with this Obamacare mess. If you believe that what is good for Mass is good for the nation, then you should agree that Scott Walker's successful programs in Wisconsin should be rolled out in Ohio.

What are you hearing from Darrel Issa nowadays, greek ? Yea, I'm not hearing anything either. I guess there was considerably more smoke than fire, huh?

Costs, overall are being reduced. As for the "people" in congress, they will have to raise campaign funds from different lobbyists.

beright- the blueprint for that legislation was romney's program in Mass. ......, right! You voted for his platform, right? Did you really believe he was going to do a 180 on his signature legislative accomplishment ? I know it really isn't something you would own, but are you and greek smokin' out of the same bag. This is about consumers defining what they need in a healthcare/insurance product. This is about the bang for a buck. We demand, they supply.
