Congressional leaders in both parties are engaged in high-level, confidential talks about exempting lawmakers and Capitol Hill aides from the insurance exchanges they are mandated to join as part of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, sources in both parties said.

The talks — which involve Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), the Obama administration and other top lawmakers — are extraordinarily sensitive, with both sides acutely aware of the potential for political fallout from giving carve-outs from the hugely controversial law to 535 lawmakers and thousands of their aides. Discussions have stretched out for months, sources said. If it is that good....................

They are doing everything they can to delay any part of it being implemented !

Democratic Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia, a leading force in the creation of President Obama’s health care law, now says the health reform is at risk of falling under its own regulatory weight and that it’s becoming too complicated to properly implement.

“[The law] is so complicated and if it isn’t done right the first time, it will just simply get worse,” he said, as reported by the Washington Examiner

The Republicans can do nothing about implementation. The Democrats, who passed the bill without reading it, can’t figure it out. How do you implement a law you cannot decipher?

Beright all we know is that you obstructing republi-cans are doing everything you can to limit implementing the LAW !!!!!! And all thats for is to protect your health insurance benefactors !!

What is the solution, repeal the AHCA and replace it with what, becoming millinaires and billionaires, because someone gets sick is morally wrong, if tax dollars go to this instead of defense contractors so be it. The human G-nome project returns 140$ in benefits to citizens for every 1 tax dollar invested into this research, show me a defense program with that kind of return. Show me a tax subsidy to Exxon-Mobil and other welfare queens with that kind of return. Becoming a preventive healthcare nation instead of a reactive healthcare nation will save future generations, and if it creates a few less millionaires on the backs of the sick and chronically ill, so be it.

We have NO IDEA what this will do: You don’t see the Silliness in that statement? Hundreds of Millions of people who currently have insurance will be affected in a negative way an you balance that by saying let’s wait and let it take full effect? You stood to long next to the blast furnace my friend. One of the folks, Jay, who’s staff helped write the law can’t figure it out and you want to wait and see what happens. Stand in the middle of I270 in Columbus Ohio during rush hour and see what happens. It wouldn’t be good either.

And still we havent even got most of it implemented so we have NO IDEA what this will do !Leave it up to republicans to demonize something that will help 42 million americans get health insurance !

Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV), one of the architects of the Affordable Care Act, said on Tuesday that the healthcare law, set to go into full effect in less than eight months, is “probably the most complex piece of legislation ever passed by the United States Congress” and “is just beyond comprehension.”

Maybe he should have read the bill before he voted on it.
