Is the unprecedented House "contempt" citation against Attorney General Eric Holder a "witch hunt" designed to discredit a Federal official who stands in the way of Republican voter-repression plans in several states?

This week's FORTUNE Magazine piece by Katherine Eban thoroughly explains why Darrell Issa's so-called "investigation" of the "Fast and Furious" operation is based upon lies and half-truths concerning what was actually a poorly-planned effort (devised during the Bush administration) on the part of a few ATF agents to trap "straw-purchasers" of guns in southwestern states who bought guns legally and then transferred them to gang-bangers in Mexico ... The Issa committee is not really concerned with alleged "documents" or any of the facts of the case (which are few), but want instead to eliminate the Attorney General whom they view as a threat to the efforts of state officials like Governor Rick Scott of Florida and others to remove thousands of citizens from voter rolls in conformance with the 2009 A.L.E.C. plan to steal the 2012 election ... Before yapping, read the FORTUNE article carefully!
