Did so-called "American" conspiracy nuts endanger the life of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was attacked by a mob in Alexandria, Egypt, that "heard" from righty blogs the fib that she "supports" the Muslim Brotherhood?

Certain far right "conspiracy" nutcases - including Frank Gaffney (who touted fake WMD theories on CNN and FOX in 2002), Michele Bachmann, Glenn Beck, The Washington TIMES, and assorted rightwing bloggers accused Huma Abedin - a highly respected State Department aide to Secretary Clinton (and the unfortunate wife of ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner) - of being a "secret agent" for the "Muslim Brotherhood". This "news" was picked up online by Egyptians who were upset about the recent election of Brotherhood candidate Muhamed Morsi. They threw eggs, shoes, and rocks at Hillary's motorcade during her recent visit to Alexandria. Some in the mob yelled "Monica! Monica!" -which is an interesting thing , because one of the "pundits" spreading the "Brotherhood" fib was Lucianne Goldberg (once a dirty-tricks specialist for Nixon, mother of rightwing columnist Jonah Goldberg, AND noted "good buddy" of Monica Lewensky)
