Is Andy Thompson really qualified to serve the citizens of southeastern Ohio, given his close ties to extremist groups and individuals?

While Linda Secrest has been a dedicated public servant, her opponent, Andy Thompson has been, for over a year, closely allied with various extremist groups like the T.E.A. Party and Glenn Beck's "9-12 Project" that promote some of the same far-out notions proposed by the likes of Sharron Angle, Ken Buck, Joe Miller, Christine O'Donnell, and Marco Rubio - i.e. "privatizing" all government services like Social Security, Medicare, the Veterans' Administration; the "nullification" of nearly all federal laws passed after the Tenth Amendment (i.e. The 14th Amendment); reducing or eliminating the federal minimum-wage, etc. Is someone who seems to favor such a radical dismantling of government programs really "qualified" to serve the citizens of S.E. Ohio?
