Are Romnet TV ads blatantly lying about President Obama's policies regarding Medicare?

Of course they are! The Romney/Ryan hucksters are saying that "Obama is 'gutting' Medicare" and that "Obama has stolen $716 billion from Medicare" ... Both of these claims are major fibs! The $716 billion represents savings contained in the Affordable Care Act that would eliminate waste within the program in the form of overpayments to insurance, overcharging by providers and suppliers, and scams by equipment firms that cause Medicare costs to skyrocket ... Under Obama's plan, there are NO cuts in benefits to recipients ... Ryan's Budget would ALSO cut $716 billion, but these would include substantial cuts in benefits to those eligible to receive benefits in 2022. This would make future seniors pay an extra $6400 per person to receive the same benefits as seniors receive today for nothing (meanwhile, healthcare benefits for members of Congress would stay the same) ... Ryan/Romney also want to extend the age of elgibility to 67 ... Money buys a lot of lies!
