This is a true story…it was so cold this week… that I actually saw a Democrat with his hands in his own pockets!

A very good question would be , just how many are fighting your wars for you ?

The pres is going to make a big speak on immigration. It is said (msnbc) that his plan will focus on amnesty disguised in his words as a path to citizenship. We already have 48 million people on food stamps. The Illegal population is said to be anywhere from 11 million to 20 million. Can we afford to put that many more people into the system? I am not assuming that all will be on food stamps but you could assume that a soon to be democrat will figure out how to game the system and collect. This activity can not help the deficit.

The deficit was already well on its way before Obama took over ! You forget , not 1 but 2 unfunded wars of which Darth Cheneys halliburton has netted billions on No-Bid contracts and the perscription thingy that ole W put in with no funding !That was just the beginning ! Obama had to put the good faith of america in an attempt to short-circuit a recession that may have led to total financial collapse !

Tis all good Rocker, get them dividend checks from child and prison labor, just making the point that there is more to your investment, than just writing a check to your money market manager, Taxes are way high, but when was this country stronger and progressing, when the top tax rate was 90%, which no one paid, and unemployment was hovering at 3%, or now when the govt has exponentially soared in its part of GDP, the middle class carries the tax burden and unmeployment will stay at 6-7% for a while. if never going below the NEW NORM. Want to make govt. shrink, cant vote for military- industrial complex backers and recievers of benefits from constant wars like Billy....

Phil Mickelson was wrong in apologizing. Thats the problem with conservatives and republicans. They need to get some testicular fortitude and fight back.

Munster, where on earth did you learn it was easy to make a fortune? If thats true then everyone should be financially well off.

And scrappile, I love those dividend checks man! Woo hoo!!!

Spliffy: You want our U.S. Navy to protect oil shipments fom Iran to the Chi-coms, so your investments in cell phoes gets you a dividend check. Pay-up. You want drones patroling the 4 corners of Creation so you feel safe pay-up. You want natural gas from hydro-fracking, well Rex Tillerson aint paying for, so you pay-up. You want to go back to the Feds. living off import tariffs, and excise taxes instead of income taxes, go back to pre-ronnie import tariff rates, other wise pay-up, You are willing to live with the 14 points of Conservatism, which were also big in 30`s Germany, so pay-up, or you could vote for actual small govt. reps. but Billy is your boy, and your smokin what he is sellin. so pay-up

Tell you a little secret, if California made a law that says for every dollar we send to D.C. we get a dollar back, their tax base would shrink, see states like Miss. and alot of, not all right to work states send a dollar to D.C. and get more back in Miss. case it was around 1.90, now states like New York, California send a dollar in and get less than a dollar back. is this the answer to the 6th largest economy in the world`s problems, of course not, but its not all 47% of earners who pay no federal income taxes, but if Phil is paying 62% in taxes, he is not taking advantage of the capital gains tax, or deductions for charity, guess he`ll have to make more BIG PHARMA commercials, of course Mexico is not too far away, ADIOS PUNTA.

munster, it is not that easy(for everyone) to make a fortune. if that were the case then we would be like saudi arabia. everyone would be rich!

munster, they are fleeing the states... not the country.

Posted 118 days ago.

Munster

Well if they want to leave, more power to them but dont come back and dont bring your products here to sell they wont be welcome !They wont go anywhere ! Only in this country is it easy to make a fortune !

munster, quite possibly if you had made different choices in your life you could be looking at your own tax return and seeing what others are experiencing. i am waiting to see the closing of the gate in california and other high income tax states, much like north korea has to do to corral its people. it is not just ole phil my friend, do a little reasearch on those that have already made the trip. until you uncover another reason to pull-up stakes and move, i'll just accept their version.
