Racism and the 2012 election

Explain how one group can be racist for voting around 60% against a man of a different racial background but another group that votes 90% against a person of a different racial background isn't racist?

Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else.

never let the facts get in the way of the narrative otherwise they will move your primetime show to the "dark" corner of the time slot world. Go Sharpton...not supporting...just saying GO...LEAVE..G.T.F.O. of here!!!!!!

Stillhere...a commercial for DNA ancestry testing came on the other night which got me thinking. since we all seem to assign race based on outward appearances or names of the unseen as well as other subtle indicators in our society, i think many may be surprised at their actual heritage. perhaps it would be wise to submit to scientific testing before the labeling begins. there are many "white" african-americans...although the heavily pigemnted folks seem to have laid claim to that term without fully considering others. rather selfish to coomandeer the identity of a race just because of skin color when in fact it is inaccurate.

BeRight - To a small or cloaked degree, what you are saying describes our present Commander-in-Chief. He carries out some of his duties at almost a veneer level, while below that thin veil, his actions benefit our adversaries.

While I am NOT an authority on The Koran, my basic understanding is that a Muslim CAN step outside of the boundaries of it's tenets IF his actions are designed to subdue (destroy) those heretical to it's theology. All it would take, for someone at the highest levels of power of the Heretics to greatly benefit the teachings of Muhammad, would be for him to be exceptionally sly and knowledgeable about how to twist their Constitutional conscripts to be used against them.

Then, he would be able to "deceive the very elect".

BeRight

The basic foundation of Islamic sharia essentially calls for it to over-rule any other laws or rights put in place. Whereas, in the United States the Constitution is the highest law of the land. Or, rather a legal statement of rights to be protected.

A Muslim cannot, by the statement of his/her own faith, adhere to an oath to uphold, defend and protect the constitution.

I have but one 'Master', apparently unrecognizable to you. You seem to recognize and proselytize for another.

Ohwiseone posts "You all started disrespecting Obama the day he won !"

Obama carried 43% of the national white vote in 2008 and 39% in 2012. NOTE: Obama carried more of the white vote than some of the recent white, Democratic presidential candidates.

Somehow, I DON'T see that as evidence of support for your claim that we were "disrespecting Obama the day he won", especially if your false allegation is based upon your perceptions of Racism.

I DO see it as evidence that you don't know what you're talking about (again).

OWO...what you may see as negative attributes, i and others may view as positive. i understand how that may not agree with you. the same attributes and platform of Obama was apparently something that you considered a positive and others like i...a negative. such is the politics and exhibition that people are different and free to make personal choices...at least for now. who knows what the future may bring.

OWO....he kind of clued us in during his campaign. He has over time been able to accomplish many of his goals. Look..if Trump gets elected many will be against him from the get-go as well.

OWO.....for myself and many others the problem was his platform or agenda and not the man himself.

OWO...i have complimented the president on several occasions for the good things that he has done. i, like you, also have the right to express any displeasure for no other reason than the displeasure.
