Racism and the 2012 election

Explain how one group can be racist for voting around 60% against a man of a different racial background but another group that votes 90% against a person of a different racial background isn't racist?

Do you think Bill was referred to as William in those impeachment documents and sexual assault charges?

So which ethnic denier will get the nod in your opinion? I think you will find that many change their names for various reasons. What evidence do you have that their name change was politically motivated? Besides other than romney...crush and jindal appear uncommon to me...but maybe not others.

but I will give him this, he cut education funding for children, refused medicaid expansion for the poor people in his state, supported voter suppression and did his darndest to support the dismantling of obamacare...

what is it with republicans running away from their real names? Puyesh Jindal, Willard Romney, Rafael Cruz...it seems that they think their base is dumb enough to accept their concealment of their true ethnicities...

A day after Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announced that he will run for U.S. president in 2016, the way he chooses to identify himself has become the subject of a trending hashtag in India.

It's called #bobbyjindalissowhite.

Liberal politics and world view. There is no depth too deep.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announced this week that he's running for president. In anticipation of his announcement, the Washington Post assigned two white writers to declare, in effect, that Jindal -- the son of Indian immigrants -- isn't a real Indian. The Post promoted the story on Twitter with a quote from a college professor proclaiming, "There's not much Indian left in Bobby Jindal."

Ah, liberals.

Is America ready for another white President?

Romney lost because he didn't get enough votes to win.

That might seem obvious, but not for the obvious reasons. Romney lost because the conservative virtues - the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness - no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate.

The simplest reason why Romney lost was because it is impossible to compete against free stuff.

The defining moment of the whole campaign was the revelation of the secretly-recorded video in which Romney acknowledged the difficulty of winning an election in which "47% of the people" start off against him because they pay no taxes and just receive money - "free stuff" - from the government.

BeRight - They should have made a sequel to The Jerk, where Martin's character (Navin Johnson) makes it to St. Louis and lands a position as head of the city's local NAACP office.

Martin identified as a black in the movie. And don't forget his "special purpose".

NasCarNut - A VOLUNTEER fireman's position isn't an "occupation". It's more of a socially beneficial hobby with physical risks.

If you think it's an "occupation", Steve Martin's efforts in the movie "The Jerk" were probably lost upon you when he was ask for two forms of identification and he responded; "Ah yes. I have my temporary driver's license - and - my astronaut application form... I didn't pass that though, I failed everything but the date of birth." LOL
