Racism and the 2012 election

Explain how one group can be racist for voting around 60% against a man of a different racial background but another group that votes 90% against a person of a different racial background isn't racist?

Ummm...no. You would be wrong.

And I think you are still confused over what makes great strategy and morally good strategy.

Anyone that says playing the race card is a great political tool obviously agrees with the ideals of racists!!

In what way am I racist? Have I once said a racist comment? Nope.

You are wanting to infuse morality with politics and there is nothing wrong with that. I am merely pointing out that there are those in politics that don't care about the means, just the ends.

Whether it's implying a person is racist, or wrapping themselves with a flag dripping in the blood of noble vets....these are less than moral means to justify one's ends but it happens all the time.

Was it morally good to bomb Hiroshima? Fire bomb Dresden? Let Sherman march to the sea?

No...of course not. Was it great strategy to bring a faster end to wars...yes.

Please try to keep that in mind...great strategy doesn't mean it's good in the moral category.

I am ignorant ?? I aint the flipping racist moron that you are to make a stupid comment like that..

Using race as a good political strategy????

GOD - spreading HATE is a good political strategy !!!! You are a ignorant racist !!!

"That sounds like an idiotic liberal left statement !!"

Lol, that's because you are ignorant.

I'm not saying that it is a morally good strategy, just that it is a good one politically. Just like when Republicans wrap the flag around them to go invade a nation. It's good stratgey in a political sense but ***** in the moral sense.

"Which came first?"

The haters that never gave him a chance at being President. There were those (and not a lot mind you...I hope at least) that were never going to give him a chance.

Using race as a good political strategy???? WTH ?? It is a good strategy if you desire to divide the citizens and start a war!!!

"""While much of the criticism about Obama is justified, you have to admit that there were many out there that never gave him a chance ever."""

Which came first? The chicken or the eggs?? His record show he has NEVER had any desire to give anyone a chance but opts to do it himself !!

It's not that it isn't true, it's just not true for most people.

Using race is a good political strategy, especially when you can find the occasional idiot on the Far Right willingly shows off their racism. Then the Left can use them to represent the whole of the Right. Look at the Tea Party for example. Not saying they are racist, but look at their overall image in America. It's not exactly flattering and does not represent the average Conservative. But the Left did a great job a few years ago by making it out that they did represent the majority of Republicans and the result was making moderate Republican alienated from their own people.

But every liberal pundit has used the RACE CARD. So if we know that can't be true, why do they continue to do it? Just go back and see what Chris Mathews has said over the last year.

He never disputes the message he just says "they are against him since he is the first black president"

While much of the criticism about Obama is justified, you have to admit that there were many out there that never gave him a chance ever. For whatever reason, whether because of race or party affiliation, their reasons wasn't really that good.

Like I have said before. Barry would be a cool celebrity or movie star or sports star. Someone to run into and get his autograph but running a country and negotiating with republicans and handling crises are out of his league as a community organizer..

According to Dr Ben Carson, that is by design. Its purpose is to get as many people offended and not talk about the subject so people will not attempt to understand each other and continue harboring as many ill feelings as possible so we are at each others throats. It has been working pretty well or some. See Dr. Carsons prayer breakfast speech on you tube and you will be as impressed with him as I am.

It is funny how we are called racist because we criticize Obama and we are simply against him because he is Black. With that kind of logic that means that his supporters are for Obama simply because he is Black. And is gets real funny when you criticize his policies and you are call racist but those who yell racists do not defend his policies, they only attack the messenger. So when they only attack the messenger without attacking the message, they are basically agreeing with the message of a failed presidency.

The democrats are ruling with a false majority when people have been caught voting umpteen times and districts have NO REGISTERED VOTES FOR ROMNEY.. Hel l, Kadaffi couldn't even keep 1 person from voting for the opposition. !! How did the dems do it??? By cheating on counting the votes and Munster calls the repubs liars. If we were, we would have power and tie your stupid a s$ up pronto...!!!

Because, "the majority" (that bother to vote) are becoming politically dumbed down for "free" trinkets from Santa Obama at the expense of the people that are too busy working and raising RESPONSIBLE families to pay attention to the fact that their rights are being threatened.
