The NTEU does have an active Political Action Committee. So a union member targeted the TEA PARTY. That would make perfect sense.

The so-called Zero Interest Rate Policy is designed to stimulate the economy and avoid a deflationary price spiral. That sounds all well and good, but at what price and to whom? Baby Boomer retirees! That’s who. In 2008, a retiree could earn a return of almost 4.5% on a “risk free” 10 year Treasury note guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the government. Quantitative easing began in earnest in early 2009 and since then, that same 10 year note yields just 1.7%, a 62% cut in pay for conservative investors. Are BO monetary policies helping anyone? In a left-handed manner the sequester has helped the STOCK market boom of late. BO denies the Sequester was his idea. A smarter man would take credit.
