G "DUBYA" BUSH's Legacy

Why do the news outlets and leftist liberals not report the good things that he has done for the country and the people of Sudan instead of focusing on the problems that the country endured under his fine leadership?

Bush inherited a recession from Clinton and 9/11. If the wars were unfunded you should blame Congress for given them the OK.

My plan reduces the national debt, and fast. So fast, in fact, that economists worry that we're going to run out of debt to retire. Presidential Radio Address (24 February 2001) Another mission accomplished....

THEY passed a near Trillion dollars for that, are you really that dense? So, in your opinion, we need to spend another trillion, "slated" for public works, that he'll spend some other way again?

The only thing he's told the truth about came the other day, when whining that the press was asking him difficult questions, "Gee, I guess I just need to pack up and go away!"

Yup, I'll come help you and Missy pack!

Free, does it hurt your head coming with such nonsense? It should!

So, Obama "tried" to get Republicans "on board" for a public works program? Oh, you mean "Stimulus II?" The first near one trillion dollar stimulus was supposed to be for "Shovel Ready" jobs, wasn't it? That's a public works program, That didn't go to public works projects.

Instead, it went to prop up public employee pension plans, freeing up money the state and local governments would have been forced to pay. That money was used instead to keep public employees on the job for a year. When that same money tree didn't appear the NEXT year, well, they got changed to other 'guvment jobs, or got dumped into the Unemployment line.

Many of the same posters here have time and time again said the presidents have no control over the price of a gallon of gas. You need to pick your arguments a little better. Maybe we should argue about the Keystone Pipeline and why BO wants Canadian Oil to go to China. DUBYA would have had the pipeline built by now and the oil would have been flowing. Or maybe we should argue why BO keeps supporting ethanol when the energy used and resources wasted in it production far out way any benefit we get from ethanol.

The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum opened to the public Wednesday, with the 43rd president greeting 43 area schoolchildren who were its first visitors.

"It was amazing seeing one of our nation's leaders who left an eight year legacy behind him," said Eduardo Borrego, a 6th grader Mark Twain Elementary in Richardson. He added, "I was like, 'I can't believe he's here.'"

The library and museum, along with Bush's policy institute, are housed in the George W. Bush Presidential Center on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas. The center was dedicated last week during a ceremony that featured Bush, President Barack Obama, and former Presidents Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush, who is Bush's father.

The 43 Dallas-Fort Worth area students were chosen by their superintendents to be the first visitors to the museum Wednesday, said library and museum spokesman John Orrell. He said about 300,000 visitors a year are expected.

Whose fault is it? The first week Obama was in office he trumped his nose at Congress and kicked them to the side of the road and rammed a bill past them !!! Would you call that cooperation?? I think not. I am tired of you saying it is all the repubs fault when your hero started this mess !!

All the people whining about Iraq did you forget that your savior Hillary Clinton helped to authorize the war? The New York Times, John Kerry, John Edwards were all in favor of invading. Why didn't they have the courage of their convictions to oppose the war? The reason is they are gutless. Whatever you think of Bush he stuck by his convictions much more than most politicians do.

Feeling pain at the pump? Gas prices have doubled since Mr. Obama took office. According to the GasBuddy gasoline price tracking web site, the price of a gallon of regular gas was around $1.79 when Mr. Obama took office. Today the national average is $3.58.
