good morning lts- I hope things are well. Would you share a bit more about the "plenty" of weapons of mass destruction in saddam h's possession? Such as what we did or did not find, and where the ones we didn't find where or are?

taht is not my call. i bet Obama probably wishes it wasn't his either....but he wanted to wear the big boy pants....no inheritance...he asked for, got and has to deal with it...its his job now...do it.

asknot, perhaps you are right....but i am certain Kuwait appreciated our intervention in the first so-called gulf war. whether people would like to admit it or not...by the liberals left description of weapons of mass destruction...it was painfully obvious that Saddam had plenty. the problem i see with our policies of dealing with unsavories in the world ends at half-measures. i am more of the school of "eradicate not placate". remember that Saddam invaded a sovreign country which threatened the worlds oil supply. as much as americans tie politics and hatred for oil...it as in now is the prime source of fuel for our economy and would be more devastating than a market crash. we see how everyone reacted to that. with the major exception of Japan and Germany...we stick at nation rebuilding at least in the middle-east so far. they as a whole are not receptive to our way of life and most likely never will be. the best we can hope for is containment or elimination. fortunately tha

AP reports..."The city center of Iraq's Fallujah has fallen completely into the hands of fighters from the al-Qaida-linked Islamic State in Iraq and Levant, police said Saturday, yet another victory for the hardline group that has made waves across the region in recent days."

I am logging off now. I have better stuff to do than debate with small minded people that want people to think the are tolerant of other peoples views when they are NOT.

Thin skin when called a homophobe and a racist.. YEP that'll do it..By the way I have referenced DR BEN CARSON before. He was the one that spoke beside Obama at the luncheon about Obamacare and now everyone is begging him to run in 16.

Tiredofit - I too like Dr. Ben Carson. Contrary to Obama, he IS very intelligent, he (apparently) wasn't raised with his grandparents pushing him to worship an avowed Communist. He makes no claims for a need to "radically transform America" (just logically fill in the holes) AND, for the oneills/asknots of this country, he meets all of the stated prerequisites for a Black man established by (Racist) Joe Biden. He's the total package!

Now, before you go off on me AGAIN, asknot, remember that I supported Herman Cain's nomination on here for the Republican nomination also.

I am sure that the press would be calling him an uncle tom in a matter of weeks as any black person that is not a buddy of Al Sharpton et al, gets branded as not authentic it seems.

The ONLY person I have seen speak as of late that I would like to see run is Dr Ben Carson although he is not running and I don't know enough about him to say I would support him. I do know he is not a victim despite a tough way to come up, he is very successful and makes a lot of sense on the topics on which I have heard him expound.

I am very firmly on the right just for disclosure sake

Tiredofit

No it implies that the only way one could see a good option is if that person was left of far left.

Posted 246 days ago.

Tiredofit

clean your glasses, I don't like ANY far left candidate.

Posted 246 days ago.

Tiredofit

I am sure that any candidate I liked would not set well with you anyway.

Posted 246 days ago.

Tiredofit

I told you, there are no good options that I see unless you are left or really left which I am not.

Posted 246 days ago.

Tiredofit

Ok I will put you in the Did not support the gulf war category. That's fine you have the right. However, Obama ran against BUSH not Mccain so to speak and has continued nearly every policy of GWb.
