no... what i am saying is that Saddam did have weapons of mass destruction by todays liberal definition for weapons of mass destruction. do you disagree? it was admitted after the fact that 90-95% of his chemical weapons had been accounted for. would you say that a meer minimum 5% of a rather large supply would be harmful? either way... i am not offering justification, just clarification of a term. now if the term only applies to chemical, biological and nuclear weapons then you may wish to educate your left leaning friends as they have hi-jacked the definition to further their agenda.

Cheney/halliburton,after the first gulf war, violated U.S. sanctions against Iraq, by conducting business there.I don't see any difference between bush, cheney, and that barbarian in n.korea. They are all guilty of murder.

lts-I know you don't believe that "w" and "so what" cheney intended the meaning of "weapons of mass destruction" to be interpreted to mean jet fighters, military grade rifles, and even scud missiles.Does the phrase " mushroom cloud", and terms such as "yellow cake", and "tubes"(associated with uranium production) imply anything other than their definitions? What you are saying is that they didn't lie, correct?

asknot...believe it or not...i thought someone would chime in that those weapons of mass destruction was reason enought o go to war. if you notice, i was just responding to moderations question of what i meant by "weapons of mass destruction" plural. the now infamous flawed intelligence information regarding his chemical and boilogical arsenal along with his intent to achieve fissionable material in which to construct a nulear weapon was the reason for the invasion. the real intent for the war quite frankly was hidden in the background as we did not see a direct financial or oil driven payback. we basically rebuit their infrastructure and finacially propped up their economy. in the long run it may have proven to be a huge mistake, but who knows what would have transpired if Saddam would have been allowed to stay in power. while the Palestinian-Isreali talks take center stage, i think we have stumbled a bit with Iran. i am concerned that our, maybe not others, window of oppor

moderation, honestly... i don't know for a fact if some jets are still buried in the sand or not. i would imagine that if they were, they would be of little use without some serious rehab. more than likely after the fall of Iraq, the looting that prevailed and almost assured that the same folks that hid any and everything surely had plenty to gain by their retrieval. from a 2003 AP report: "At least one Cold War-era MiG-25 interceptor was found when searchers saw the tops of its twin tail fins poking up from the sands, said one Pentagon official familiar with the hunt. He said search teams have found several MiG-25s and Su-25 ground attack jets buried at al-Taqqadum air field west of Baghdad."

Yes, there are sanitary issues that always need to be considered with chickens One caution I should share about letting them experience expanded freedom, is that they may not return to their run on your schedule.

lts-are there jets buried somewhere in the deserts of Iraq, yet today, do you think?

moderation...it has been well documented that Saddam not only hid weapons such as fighter jets and munitions, but he scuttled weapons into Syria. it has yet to be determined where exactly the bulk of the stockpiles documented by the U.N. weapons inspectors ended up. i think you will agree that heavy munitions and fighter jets constitute weapons of mass destruction do you not? i mean if one lowly individual with an semi-automatic rifle can be considered possessing a weapon of mass destruction then how can you argue against an arsenal of SCUD missles?

Although I have never formally timed the process, I can see that feeding, watering, and releasing the chickens, and then collecting the eggs requires about 25 mins.

good morning lts- I hope things are well. Would you share a bit more about the "plenty" of weapons of mass destruction in saddam h's possession? Such as what we did or did not find, and where the ones we didn't find where or are?

asknot, perhaps you are right....but i am certain Kuwait appreciated our intervention in the first so-called gulf war. whether people would like to admit it or not...by the liberals left description of weapons of mass destruction...it was painfully obvious that Saddam had plenty. the problem i see with our policies of dealing with unsavories in the world ends at half-measures. i am more of the school of "eradicate not placate". remember that Saddam invaded a sovreign country which threatened the worlds oil supply. as much as americans tie politics and hatred for oil...it as in now is the prime source of fuel for our economy and would be more devastating than a market crash. we see how everyone reacted to that. with the major exception of Japan and Germany...we stick at nation rebuilding at least in the middle-east so far. they as a whole are not receptive to our way of life and most likely never will be. the best we can hope for is containment or elimination. fortunately tha

AP reports..."The city center of Iraq's Fallujah has fallen completely into the hands of fighters from the al-Qaida-linked Islamic State in Iraq and Levant, police said Saturday, yet another victory for the hardline group that has made waves across the region in recent days."
