More old news -After a Pelosi staffer left to lobby on behalf of credit-card giant Visa, Pelosi delayed bringing to the House floor a bill to end lucrative "swipe fees" for Visa and other credit providers. The bill couldn't have come at a worse time for Visa. It planned to launch an $18 billion public stock offering, so stalling Hill action became a priority. The San Francisco-based company curried favor with Pelosi by pumping cash into her re-election efforts, earning its CEO a rare one-on-one meeting with the speaker. At the same time, Visa offered her husband a VIP cut of the IPO. Paul Pelosi jumped at the offer, buying 5,000 shares at the $44 initial price. In a couple of days, the shares soared to $64. Pelosi later bought 15,000 more, raising the total value of his investment to about $5 million. In the end, the legislation Visa fought starting in 2007 was forestalled two full years. Publicly, Nancy Pelosi has been a frequent critic of the financial industry. The commis

Obama has committed impeachable offenses. His knowing lie about keeping health care coverage materially enabled the passage of the Obamacare law on fraudulent grounds

In 2014, the Democratic National Committee wants you to vote Democrat – if only so you can protect President Obama from being impeached. An email sent out Saturday evening explicitly raises the fear that the president could be removed from office if enough Republicans take control of Congress, the Daily Caller reported. Dec 29 2013

If you are enjoying the fruits of someone elses labor, maybe you should consider being a little more grateful and a little less arrogant

SO to correct your previous statement, NO I have not enjoyed socialism my whole life, you just have that wrong. I have been forced into some socialist programs as a provider, but not as a consumer. So you are just wrong about that one pal,

I will just have to assume that you do indeed enjoy socialism as I am sure you are the beneficiary of much of my tax money, Well enjoy but a thank you would suffice

You don't have the slightest clue what socialism is nor its destructive power. Whats more you cannot differentiate between the enumerated powers of the federal government and the over reach of the modern progressive/ socialist.

you assume you know things that you don't. Typical liberal

There is socialism in our country I don't deny that I lament it. But your assertion that I have enjoyed it in some way is without merit. I am a working person and a taxpayer who has never taken a dime from the pubic trough

I am party to socialism but it is entirely against my will. I have been to public schools but that was only because my family could not afford private school as they were required to pay for public schools whether I attended or not

to be more precise, you said you and I have enjoyed socialism our whole lives. YOU may have but I have not

Tiredofit

You have stated that I have enjoyed socialism my whole life, now defend that or not. I don't doubt that socialism exists in our government.

The federal govt is required to raise an army for the common defense, that is not a socialist redistributive idea

Tiredofit

So I ask again, how have I enjoyed socialism?

Posted 262 days ago.

Tiredofit

military( not socialist, is a requirement of the constitution)highways/bridges etc, police(local county and state), fire dept(local or volunteer) libraries(outdated and not something I have enjoyed). postal service,(required by enumerated roles) social security( never claimed a dime despite being forced to contribute), polio vaccine(don't know why you listed this), schools(county and state could have went to private school if state didn't force my parents to pay for it), prisons( city state county no need for federal), judicial system( required by constitution) medicare (never been on it), zoos(been to a few, none federal), dams (don't know how if enjoy dams), welfare,(not on it never was) snow removal,(do my own) so ..................

Absolutely not socialist ideas. You may keep going if you want, but you have yet to demonstrate how I have ENJOYED socialism my whole life as you said.
