No one is trying to push Obama's "sins" away as you claim. Rational people try to look at his Presidency in the grander context of history.
Does Obama make mistakes? Yep..no one denies that.
Is Obama out to destroy the nation? No.
Does Obama's foreign policies suck? Mostly yes.
Is Obama Muslim? The Devil? Marxist?..etc No.
I think it is both with you, greek. But, again, how about the political affiliation of the irs head honcho when these 501 exemption requests were first being scrutinized?
The fact that you mention - (in response to posted pro-gun viewpoints)- the actions of a little murderer in Connecticut in response as evidence supportive with someone wanting to react to it with a tightening of gun ownership laws tends to show 'your spots', Skippy.
That reaction, on your part, is about as immature as your propensity for attempting to brush Obama's sin away by pointing to those of characters that are no longer a relative to the political process.
"Remember to vote the traitors out that voted to give the UN our guns too."
If anyone believes that ANYTHING that happens in the UN would take away our weapons, you are dumb as sh*t.
That and of course the annoying fact that there has been no vote to remove our weapons in the UN. This fact might keep getting in the way of your fantasies but have any govt agents ever take any of your weapons away in the last 6 years? No?...think about that.
"I don't need the availability or exercise of my 2nd Amendment rights decided by his deluded actions...or your deluded beliefs."
Obviously Govt disagrees. And as I have implied many times, has Obama or any of his mystery executive orders to take away guns EVER affected you yet? Or anyone you know?
Interesting...what are my beliefs on this topic? If you can declare them "deluded" then you must know what they are....go ahead and tell us.
More coffin nails -The federal government is continuing to dole out billions of dollars to people who shouldn't get them. A government watchdog agency said an estimated $106 billion in payments were made in error last year: meaning they were the wrong amount, went to the wrong person or lacked sufficient documentation. These payments include tax refunds, unemployment benefits, Social Security benefits, and Medicare and Medicaid coverage. The improper payments could be even higher since not all agencies reported to the Government Accountability Office. The White House acknowledged that "the loss to the Federal Government is significant," but it pointed to a declining overall error rate: Just 3.5% from 5% in 2009.
Well said Kunnect. Also the stupid law would not have changed or prevented that event or any others. It would have taken guns from law abiding citizens. Remember to vote the traitors out that voted to give the UN our guns too. Manchin in WV and Sherrod "sh1t hed Brown.
"Hmmmm...was there some kind of mass shooting that happened that involved a person getting a dangerous weapon from his mother and killing a bunch of kids?" ~ Kendall78
Well, Kenny, if your talking about that little, whacked-out Cretin that killed his mom with her gun then headed off to Sandy Hook, I don't need the availability or exercise of my 2nd Amendment rights decided by his deluded actions...or your deluded beliefs. Thank You Very Much.
"Perry urges Obama to send National Guard troops"
Of course Obama wants to lay back on his constitutional responsibility to protect ALL OF AMERICA (not just Texas) in hopes that the Texas authorities will be forced to react so that Obama will have a propaganda point to put forward about how 'another Republican administration is being cruel to Hispanics". OF COURSE, THAT'S NOT PLAYING POLITICS, IS IT MR. PRESIDENT?

Ah, the curse of short memories.); Or, perhaps it is a comprehension issue. To refresh, the irs didn't limit it's investigations to only those rightish leaning groups. Also, who's appointee was over this program initially?
BeRight. Looking back at this as it unfolded and the B.S. answers they were giving from the get-go indicates absolute lying and deception to a Congressional hearing. Now Federal Judges are involved and requesting an investigation. Will be interesting to see if they are lied to also !!
I think the issue with a federal employee taking the Fifth is not about their right to do so as someone alluded to somewhere in this posting string. I think in the case of the IRS, when she was basically asked if her organization was using the power of the federal gov’t, with the administrations implied blessing, to screw certain organizations, she decided on she needed to take the Fifth. Also, the IRS’s claim that the emails were lost because of a hard drive crash is incredulous. I have had computers crash before and every single time my IT guy recovered everything. And the last thing about computer crashes, don’t every try to use that excuse during an IRS audit because it does not work. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
"A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that New York’s strict new gun laws, including an expanded ban on assault weapons, were constitutional,.." (NYT 31Dec13)
Guess the Judicial side of their state Govt has no problems with it.
"make it a felony for a father/mother, to give his/her son or daughter a firearm."
And what could have possibly made them want to do that? Hmmmm...was there some kind of mass shooting that happened that involved a person getting a dangerous weapon from his mother and killing a bunch of kids?
Nah...it must be the govt just wanting to take guns...yeah..that's it.
Sounds like a great law to me - NOT !!!
While no official proclamation has been made, New York City is not expected to offer any opposition given Mayor Michael Bloomberg's public support of the bill and help in drafting the legislation. Further, dozens of organizations, including sportsman's clubs within the state, the American Legion, the New York State Association of County Clerks, the New York State Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, the New York State Conservation Council, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, and others, have all publicly denounced the law, and called for its repeal or amendment.
As of May 11, 2013, 52 of New York's 62 counties have passed official resolutions in direct opposition of the NY SAFE Act; some of these counties have directed their law enforcement officials to not enforce the SAFE Act within their jurisdictions. More than 325 local municipalities throughout upstate New York have also voiced public opposition to the law through village, town and city resolutions calling for repeal. In fact, the public county and municipal opposition to the SAFE Act is historic in nature. Not since Governor George Clinton took office as New York's first Governor in 1777 has any other law in the state's history garnered the sheer magnitude of official opposition and condemnation as Governor Cuomo's SAFE Act. Even in the state capital of Albany, the Albany County minority legislature issued a proclamation opposing the SAFE Act. Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties have yet to act in any official manner. While no official proclamation has been ma
As always the devil was in the details. This was more than just a BILL to close loopholes in background checks, they were also trying to sneak in the so called "assault weapons" ban amendment and make it a felony for a father/mother, to give his/her son or daughter a firearm. We must always take care not to pass any laws that suppress and infringe on the rights of lawful Americans. This BILL did exactly that!
"Look up the NY SAFE Act."
Yeah..I did and maybe you should too. The discussion was about how the Executive Branch of our govt was taking guns. The NY Safe Act was passed by the NY Legislature
"Exactly what influences you and your opinions?"
Many places, unlike fanatics that seem to lean too heavily on just the Right or Left.
