Obama took 13 vacations in his first term, which spanned all or part of 83 days. But they have been much more lavish than Bush’s. His annual vacations to Hawaii alone have cost taxpayers at least $20 million during his first term. In 2011 alone, Michelle Obama may have cost taxpayers $10 million on vacations herself. Obama’s fantasy golf outing this year cost local law enforcement in Florida a reported $78, 205.
Just how much shall the taxpayer fund OBAMA and his wife? How much do they really NEED
Dated 8/28/2014--When we emailed Knoller on Aug. 26, Obama was up to 140 days by his count. Bush’s total for his two terms in office is 533 days, which includes 490 at the ranch and the rest at Kennebunkport. For comparison’s sake, President Bill Clinton’s total is 174 days, and Reagan hit 390 (349 at his ranch and 41 in Palm Springs), according to Knoller.
Adding in Camp David visits would bring Obama’s total to date to 223 (that’s 83 days at Camp David) and Bush’s total for his entire time in office to 1,024 (491 days at the presidential retreat). Note that Obama still has more than two years in office to narrow the gap.
Well we seem to have enough money for SS checks and supporting illegals.
Oblabla's amnesty program is a slap in the face to all those who passed through Ellis Island.
It makes me sick that law breakers are getting rewarded.
Mod, who was that president in 2010?
You and you "socialist" bullsh^t ! You'll still take that social security check now wont you ?
I know one thing , Obamas spent more time at the office than his predecessor did ! I guess it a good thing Obama doesn't own a ranch !
Yet the socialists scum knows no end to their needs now do they? How many vacations do the obamas NEED??
That's what socialist scum likes to bring to us, they will TELL us what we need.
If the republican congress thwarthed a by partisan bill very popular amongst the electorate, would that be obstructionist>>>>?? Well of course Obama cannot be obstructionist, he knows what we NEED not what we WANT
"Where were all the anti- Keystone people when the first portion , Phase one, was commissioned since 2010? No one was worried about the landowners then." No one but the landowners.
Where were all the anti- Keystone people when the first portion , Phase one, was commissioned since 2010? No one was worried about the landowners rights then. The proposed Keystone XL Pipeline (Phase IV), would essentially duplicate the Phase I pipeline between Hardisty, Alberta, and Steele City, Nebraska, with a shorter route and a larger-diameter pipe. It would run through Baker, Montana, where American-produced light crude oil from the Williston Basin (Bakken formation) of Montana and North Dakota would be added. This pipe line would carry BOTH Canadian and US Oil. In regards to Obama’s claim the all the oil would be exported, the Washington Post's Fact Checker gave it three out of four Pinocchios for inaccuracy, noting that the best evidence is that "at least half" the oil would remain here.
The veto was expected. Let the lying stop.
I was sure that Obama would be being branded and OBSTRUCTIONIST on these very pages, hmmmmm but no.
One consideration, among several, is that the land owners/farmers would lose their power to influence the situation, if this bill were to be signed by the potus.
Yeah , leave up to you republiduds(and the Kochs) and we all would have oil derricks in our front yard !
Talk about living up to the President's name Oblabla:"The presidential power to veto legislation is one I take seriously," Obama said in his veto message to the Senate. "But I also take seriously my responsibility to the American people. And because this act of Congress conflicts with established executive branch procedures and cuts short thorough consideration of issues that could bear on our national interest — including our security, safety, and environment — it has earned my veto."
Why just not say the environmentalists had me by the short hairs.
Even the USA Today called him an idiot for this veto.
More like 'understanding, compassionate, Liberal' ohwiseone doesn't want any contradictory viewpoints revealed that run counter to his. Ahhhh, they're such an accommodating group, right up to the one that sits at their top tier in DC.
OWO...you posted: "Truth sometimes is uncomfortable for those who need to hear it ! That's life , get over it !" personally i think we all need to make life better, the problem is getting everyone to agree on "better".
Truth sometimes is uncomfortable for those who need to hear it ! That's life , get over it !
