Moderation...any behavior I find objectionable...you? Do you bait your rabbit gum with that question as well? 8-)

Just to be clear, how 'bout your definition of "bad behavior"?

Posted 93 days ago.

absolem

It does moderation or so it should...unfortunately there are always those that use the bad behavior of those that preceded them as a pass for their current bad behavior...but who determines what constitutes bad behavior?

"Just because it's legal doesn't make it right...now does it?"Well said, absolem.Does that take in the 'right wing' as well?

Moderation...oh...such as the exemptions and political cover for those that legislate those restrictive freedoms that they extend to themselves but not the electorate..a true case of do as I say and not as I do.

" the democrats sell you on freedom and then over-regulate the life out of you.. " Part of that freedom involves protection from those who put profits and safety ahead of 'do unto others as you would have done unto you'

There is a level of self loathing and seething anger in most I know.

It really is amazing to me as well. I have often longed for a real discussion with a liberal to try and understand thier thinking but you can never quite get there. They start out with thier "feelings". But when you begin to approach reality, it devolves quickly into tired old accusations of racism sexism and any other ism they can conjure up

it is still mind-boggling why so many democrats are so inclined to support restrictive socialist-like candidates instead of those that lessen the burdens placed on the citizens by their government...it's almost like we are Otis on the Andy Griffith show whereby we are more than willing to incarcerate and punish ourselves...astounding. the democrats sell you on freedom and then over-regulate the life out of you.. again...astounding.

Lots of folks are unhappy with the republican congress but it does not mean they want to replace them with Dems, Many want more action out of them to STOP obama

I love how in denial you on the left are about 2014

Stillhere

Gee wonder why so many Dems lost thier seats? I guess anyone can just make up stats

NasCarNut

Nearly two-thirds (63%) disapprove of the Democratic leaders in Congress, while 74% disapprove of the Republican leadership. That's worse than in March 2011, when 64% said they disapproved of GOP leadership a few months after the party took control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

i'm with you on maintaining a fighting weight...however, my metabolism and activities allow me to eat virtually anything i desire and maintain a 5-10# variance in weight for the past 30+ years. eating smart along with activity can help just about anyone with their weight with the exception of those predisposed genetically or those that suffer from some medical malady.

Quit the coffee before noon daily, I'll pass on the pastry thanks, not that I don't like them just keeping to my fighting weight.

Stillhere....i used to be able to drink coffee until right before bedtime. now however i, like you have a cut-off time for a delicious cup of the "nectar of the dead". i neglected to mention, that although i despise it, i would prepare a cup of decaf for you. do you prefer coffee-cake, doughnut, or other pastry with your coffee?

ah yes...the democratic party is fast becoming the novelty or fad party. hmmm...i don't recall Harry Reid or the Democrats remarking that Herman Cain could be a Historic (even though he actually would have been the first TRUE first-generation african-american president) much less "articulate" candidate and subsequent president. hmm the standards do seem to be in a free fall. much is said about the face of government should represent the demographics of the electorate. upon research i was stunned to find that only 12.6% of the population is listed as african-american as of 2013 with the largest concentration, percentage wise, in the District of Columbia. you would not know that while doing a 360 around here. either way....politicians like everyday people should be judged by their character and actions instead of skin color....and yes Virginia...everybody judges...even YOU.
