Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

"Kendall and his ilk seem to trust government to decide what's best for them"

I trust the govt as anyone would an entity they have to live with. The reality is this Tired, the govt serves a purpose. Sometimes they get things right and many times they do not. But what's the alternative? No govt?

Although the aca got off on a rough start, it appears public opinion has begun to tilt the needle more toward approval and acceptance.

"Then why the need to pass a law to force us to do what we already were"

Because the old method was outdated and didn't work. Their was the need to try and streamline and make the healthcare system work better.

That doesn't mean that Obamacare is the best solution but it's what we got. Harping about getting rid of it would be about as productive as those that still rant about Obama not being American. A big waste of time.

Are there any taxes you don't find objectionable, tired?

what doncha like about people with pre- existing conditions obtaining once prohibited coverage? what doncha like about no lifetime limits on coverage? .....If that what floats libs boat, why not right a law that is 3 sentences long instead of 2 thousand pages?

7 million sign up but 40 million still uninsured and your celebrating?

My deductables have gone up as well as my premiums. This is to cover all that new "free" stuff.

beright-unions are affected by collective bargaining agreements, that have a legal 'lifetime'.

There is no longer any congressional oversight on the plan.

The people who voted for it are running away from it and many groups are asking for excemptions.

If it is that would why do unions want out?

BeRight

My insurance rate has increased as well as my deductibles.

What I do not like is that Obama lied about "you can keep your plan" and "you can keep your doctor".

What else I do not like is that every legislator who voted for this plan did not read it before they voted for it. The plan keeps being changed without the benefit of congressional oversight. The plan is being run by thirty somethings in the whitehouse without consulting the legislature.

thats the short list.

Tired- if you are involved in a car wreck and don't have ins. coverage, you will be fined, and maybe sued as well, plus that loss will be passed on to other insureds.this is practice is intended to protect the larger 'group'.
