Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

Asknot says - Tired, you're right, I did get angry when I spent all this time debating someone I thought was educated on the subject and then admitted he wasn't, and refused to even consider any counter points, and just go back to the same old talking points.

You got upset because a point was made that went against your grain AND YOUR BELIEFS JUST LIKE ALL LIBERALS DO. yOU ARENT ON HERE TO "LEARN". yOU ARE HERE PUSHING YOUR b.s. OPINIONS !!!

asknot - BE CAREFUL with that "Want to know why?? READ other sites and learn!" stuff.

When I suggested that to you, on another subject matter, I believe you implied they were ALL BS!

Greek- you do realize that the genesis for the aca came from the heritage foundation and much of Romney care was used as a model, eh?

There were people way smarter than us that made proposals that were laughed off the floor by the dems.

At this point, what does it matter? Hillary Clinton about Benghazi.. We have to pass it to see whats in it. Pelosi about the ACA. See a trend? No one is listening to each other in congress, let alone the people they supposedly represent so new ideas are a waste of time, especially if it don't have Obama, Reid or Pelosi attached to it.

Letting the government take control of it is not fixing anything. Just making it worse. The republicans and Dr Ben Carson had some good ideas but the dems were set on the ACA passing.

Ask the Dumocrats. They pushed this crap in. No one understood it when they voted FOR it now you, in you INFINITE wisdom expect people lower on the totem pole to come up with answers. I say YOU voted them idiots in there. EXPECT THEM to do their job and figure it out !!!!Cruz tried to give your heros some suggestions and you all make fun of him...Liberals get us into these messes then expect others to bail them. It is their failure. They can deal with it OR get booted out soon !!!!

How much would Tort reform eventually help reduce those costs?

He is an example of the 5% that Obamacare is meant to serve at the expense of the other 95%. Good for him. I will continue to work and help him out.

When the law is fully implemented, 30 million Americans will not have coverage under Obamacare.

Lots of peopel are signing up but......What the administration is withholding here are the demographics—age, distribution, and more,You have to wonder why they are keeping that a secret. If these numbers were telling a good story, they would publish them and make them widely available.

What’s more, it’s unclear how many of these 1.1 million people have actually paid for their plans, which is the standard insurance industry definition of enrollment. HHS is counting people as enrolled even if they have not necessarily paid for their first month’s premiums.

BeRight

Reports on TV today say that of all the people reported to have "signed up" for Obamacare, only 15 % have actually paid their first month premium which means come Jan 1 they will still be without health insurance.
