Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

I especially like his commentary of, "..people suddenly find themselves worse off because of health care reform."

GOSH MR. PRESIDENT! You mean like the millions that are going to be paying far more "because of (YOUR) health care reform?

Obama argued that his plan "ISN'T A TAX". Chief Justice John Roberts legitimized it by claiming IT IS a tax.

asknot can you honestly say that their conditions would change whether we bought their products or not? while i feel for the people, i look at our country and consider what being able to vote has given us. the chinese have their government telling them what to do and guess what...so do we.

very toxic environment for our economy. we can no longer exist on our own debt laden products. as an example, there are groups of products or commodities if you will that is distributed by my corporation that is imported from India and Pakistan. i have personally contacted a local manufacturer for one of these and discussed how i would like for us to distribute their product. i explained we were local and were able pick the product up with little effort on their part. i explained our market as well as the price points we could live with and what our clients expected and were used to. in the end we can have the product imported with all shipping for 40% less than what they wanted to charge. i am well aware of wal-marts habit of beating down the vendors. but i also understand why they do it. as much as they hurt the local vendors, if the local vendors could offer the savings then they would not be concerned with wal-mart. we keep wal-mart alive because they do what they do best. besides

asknot, in case you have not noticed we are now a big economic global village. well before wal-mart our government hand-in-hand with business leaders began the destruction of our economy and place in the world as a great producer. there are several ways in which to lift up thrid world countries that we have been made to feel guilty about due to their lack of resources, shoddy leadership and general state of humanity. you can either give them the money and resources straight out which we have done through grants, gifts and loooooooow cost loans, or we can build up thir trade by allowing them to produce the goods that we used to make. either way you can't argue that for the past 30-40 years american exceptionalism and pride has been on the decline or have i been the only one listening and paying attention? when you couple our monetary policies along with global monetary policies, we end up being our own worst enemy. inflation, currency stagnation and currency manipulation have created a

i think it has been proven that mandated pay scales may work well in government classified positions where the government can unilaterally increase its revenue by taxation or borrowing whether directly or indirectly. private businesses as you know do not have the same ability. our governemnt through its monetary policies could reduce inflation to the point where all americans could rise above the inlated poverty level. there iare a few things needed that you can't currently legislate and that is motivation, initiative, and personal responsibility. even with the ACA which was sold as a means of having all pay for health insurance, we see that those that draw assistance now will still get free health care. that kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think? also, we are still going to pay those that we pay for now. it's just a realignment of the revenue stream. different day...same B.S.

asknot, good evening. regarding wal-mart, please consider this. in 2010 wal-mart corporation paid $7.1 billion(32.4% tax rate) in income taxes. using 2013 store numbers of 4,135 times your democratic leaning figure of $1,000,000.00 per store in cost to the taxpayer equals $4.135 billion. thereby netting the government approx. $3 billion in revenue plus the savings of unemployment benefits as well as full welfare benefits. consider that G.G paid zero taxes on % billion in U.S. profits. this was all due to a huge write-off loss from the G.E. Capitol branch of the corporation. wal-mart employs 1.4 million americans at a salary rate above even California's most liberal minimum wage. quite franky it could be said that these 1.4 million workers could or would find other jobs if their current employment situation is that unbearable. in addition, consider the magnitude of the problems that we currently have if those 1.4 million folks were not working and paying taxes into the system. i think
