Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

BobBarker, your explanation of the reason he received the award kind of degrades its significance.

actually fred, if you can get past your obvious blindness of the facts, you will find that what i posted was gleaned from several non-fox sources and combined into my objectionable post. while reading my posts may be a struggle, i find great glee in having you take the time to read them. i think you will find the facts that i provided to be accurate and since you do seem to read my post with prejudice, you may find that i was dismayed that the actual mandates that would make this law successful were being dismantled by it's namesake. everyday is nice and thank you.

your doctor." even though he neglected to add that he also stated empirically that you can keep your doctor. is he really not satified with only having ONE "Lie of the Year" award???? greedy...ain't he!

for some... no pain and all gain. the President is slowly but surely removing the teeth(personal responsiblility) from the law by suggestion and then vote. the exemptions i believe will keep the law from its intended purpose in several respects. this law has the unfolding potential to become another unfunded mandate which will need to be funded. it has been shown that the people will not fully fund the law through personal responsibility and therefore the balance will need to be provided....but how? the hardship exemption along with the many others as well as the less than stellar performance so far is further bewildering when one hears the president say that the law is fully funded by its participants that have signed up so far. his statement and the numbers do not balance. is this just another anticipated success like his Nobel Peace prize??? is optimism to be blindly deemed as success? it appears so...by the way in the same interview he conceded that "you may have to change yo

I know people on Medicaid who are working people and yes they pay taxes, just like you do .

Sold have clarified free for those who need it, to qualify for Medicaid you need to be pretty poor. If you are single, you can have very little in possessions, must work a minimum wage job or close to it. They have always been poor people and unfortunately they have gotten themselves into a situation where this is the only way they can be treated for illness. Medicaid is not a new program.

BobBarker...the A.C.A. sabotaged itself. it did not need any help at accomplishing that feat. it looks like according to the president, lack of implementation is the fix and thusly it should just be called what it actually is....a failure.

BobBarker, you are one up on me since i do not listen to Rush unless i am in the car. i thought your number seemed a little high even from an optimistic standpoint, so i had to look further. speaking of the radio, i wish i could stay up and listen to the coast-to-coast broadcasts. they seem to have some pretty interesting characters on that show. anyway, i do hope you are well and in good health so you do not need to sweat this heathcare debacle that the democrats forced upon all of us.

BobBarker, according to CNBC, the actual number that signed up was 943,000. bringing the total to 4.2 million that have signed up so far. that is about 2 million beneath the goal of the administration. the targeted demographic that would keep this law financially afloat has stayed at an average sign-up rate of only 27%. nearly 20% of the 4.2 million that have signed up have yet to make a single payment as required by the law. the zeal of the sign-up is lost when actually having to pay. it is not surprising to see the number of sign-ups when you consider that the large majority of them are already on a government subsidized medical program. shifting from one taxpayer funded program to another is hardly anything to crow about...but you do. as usual you are a "Chirpee"...i used to think that a chirpee was what you would call a disease if a bird had herpes...but i was wrong.

moderation....yes. it does as long as there is gravity without obstacles to impede its movement. the democrats are learning that sometimes when you think you have gotten rid of your poop...it comes back. gravity is then...not your friend. 8-)

moderation, in a macro sense of the word consumer, everything by law that we are responsible for is traced back to that point. the difference being you as a consumer do not make a direct payment nor was the war declared a law, but your chosen deductable is a payment made exclusively by you and is a law. either way, the question still remains unanswered by your chiming-in-shadow as to how those are expected to pay the deductable when they did not prove to be financacially willing to even have the insurance prior to the law. i am somewhat (not really) stunned as to the association of the recent military excursions (we did not declare war) from both of you when i, as a conservative republican, question the part of the law that causes harm against those that the democrats profess such concern. that part of the law is like harming a woman while you profess to be saving her from her abusive partner.
