Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

Millions losing the coverage that THEY PURCHASED, have been with and were promised that they "can keep, PERIOD". The necessary backbone support group to keep DemoCare alive, the young and healthy, having little desire to buy into it. Many of those that are credited with already purchasing it are actually signing up for Medicare. IDENTITY THEFT about to run rampant because of the digitized exchange of personal information. WOW!!!

Whom to blame? Whom to blame? Can't punish Obama. He's done politically. SAY!! Many of those loyal, unquestioning, "useful idiot" Democrats that paraded their accomplishment through the halls of Congress in 2009, are up for reelection in 2014. Whom to blame?

Oh, it'll be a hot time in the old town, tonight (come Tuesday, November 4, 2014).

A "fix" is coming, the only one Obamanite sycophants will willing tolerate and you'll have nothing to say about.

A Single-Payer health care system is headed to a theater near you.

It's NOT my Republican Party! Some of them chose to give the flawed implementation of DemoCare just the right cover, at just at the right time.

I can't explain it, but Hurricane Sandy seemed to give the Obama reelection campaign the "Kiss of Life" at just the right moment.

(cont) If Republicans win a majority in the senate and retain such in the house, you are not going to change DemoCare. Obama knows he has given a free gift to those that would rather burn US cities to the ground than ever WORK for what they need.

AND, you'll and your offspring (if you've raised them half-way right) will be paying for it ad infinitum.

Asknot - When you express; "Instead of just whining about ACA and posting titles of books/websites that anyone can google and find to justify their own beliefs. Let's hear a thought on what we should do INSTEAD of ACA." I HAVE A QUESTION.

Why did the Obamanites roll into the WH, with both houses of congress under their arms, and immediately act like the country was burning down for lack of 15% (A DISTINCT MINORITY) of the people not having health care coverage? THEN, while crafting their witch's brew to take control of 18% of our national economy, they unabashedly blocked ANY republican input on the subject.

Now, sore winners (such as yourself) make laudatory statements like, "Let's hear a thought on what we should do INSTEAD of ACA." I've got news for you, Bud. It's too late. You've done the damage.

Asknot. I agree with Beright. Something so important as a health care law should have NEVER been passed like a knee jerk reaction to right something and for darn sure with none of the people voting for it even understanding what is in it !!! That is a breeding ground for corruption and miserable failure. Just because the old system sucked in your opinion, which I dont think so, if you wanted money and healthcare, you got .... a... ah....JOB TO PAY FOR IT.. It wasn't given to you !!!

If you want to talk about SNAP and EBT, start your own Forum Topic. We are trashing Obmamacare on this one.

The Snap cuts for the working poor was Obama’s fault since the benefits that Libs call "cuts" were only temporary to begin as asked for by Obama and the Democrats. So the correct explanation or better explanation of what happened this week would be something like the “temporary SNAP benefits buried in the Stimulus bill ran out this week since the Democrats and the Obama administration thought that their Stimulus Bill would have the economy turned around by now and the temporary SNAP benefits would no longer be needed”. Too bad the Stimulus bill failed like a Jimmy Carter administration.

Um, some lose their talking points about subsidizing the poor when scenerios happen like this week, 5 billion in snap benefits were cut from the working poor, yet, JP Morgan did not lose 1 of the 200 million dollars they are paid to oversee the program, those big agco subsides were not cut either...

BeRight

There is a problem with a law when 100% of the Democrats vote for a law before reading it and then once they do read it they work 100% to exempt themselves from that same law. This is what we have in ACA. We hear speeches all the about something had to be done to bring down the cost of health care. This is about insurance policies and forcing people to buy something they do not need. Young people are being force to buy more insurance then they need to generate money to pay for people who will get subsidized policies. Health care costs are not going down. The losers are going to be the middle class and young people who are going to be asked to subsidize those considered poor. A noble but costly proposition to those who will pay the price.

Asknot - As you follow Obama down the path to ruin, you're going to have "options".

Those options will be called a Single Payer health care program...and you're NOT going to like it.

Lets just say we have differing opinions on our governments role in our lives. You have no problem with them being big and having them involved in everything and I on the other hand like less big brother involvement because I trust most of my fellow citizens to do the right thing without a law forcing them. And I think big gov is wasteful and non productive. I am not a fanatic that thinks someone or some group ought to revolt, I just would like to pay less taxes especially if I am supporting people that do not have enough gumption to get a job and earn their own money. People that need help, I have no problem in helping but only until they can recover and get back on their feet if possible. This ACA seems like it is gonna cover illegal aliens. I didn't like the fact that it required manditory contraceptives. I thought that was a gov going too far and turns out that has been stricken due to religious beliefs.

When Cruz filibustered the opening day of the ACA you didnt hear him on CNN saying the dems made him do it or Clinton started it or whatever. He just sorta put his talk between his legs and slithered off.

AND I get severly tired of the democratic maracle cures that they put in place and blame others when it fails miserably. At least the republicans have the decency to just keep their stupid mouths shut when they goof up. Not them democrats, they are flapping their gums that the communist tea party caused it or Rush or Beck or Bush or Cheney was at fault ... God it is rediculous. They need to grow up, put their big boy or girl pants on and take responsibility !!!

everything and you seem to blame the repubs which I disagree with. They should all selfishly work together for the common good of all of the US citizens. Obama started all of this divisiveness by rewarding the groups that helped get him elected and punishes the ones that challenged him.

I am not sticking my chest out. My point is that there were many alternate proposals that were introduced when the ACA was being debated in congress and Pelosi and Reid rammed this one thru. Dr. Ben Carson came up with a Health Savings Account. The repubs came up with a tax credit to be applied towards everyones health care. The AMA had a proposal. Do you not find it troubling that not a single republican voted for this ACA bill??? Even if you are for of against the bill or repub or dem, I would think a taxpayer should be worried about this. The fact that one party cares so little about the people that elected them all that they would do something like that and then ask for bi partisan ship on other issues and then degrade them when they rebel. That is what I see the dems doing. I am not a diehard republican but the actions of the dems have me worried because they seem to have no regard for the law of the land or the constitution !!And from your posts, you seem to stand up for them on
