Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

Sold have clarified free for those who need it, to qualify for Medicaid you need to be pretty poor. If you are single, you can have very little in possessions, must work a minimum wage job or close to it. They have always been poor people and unfortunately they have gotten themselves into a situation where this is the only way they can be treated for illness. Medicaid is not a new program.

BobBarker...the A.C.A. sabotaged itself. it did not need any help at accomplishing that feat. it looks like according to the president, lack of implementation is the fix and thusly it should just be called what it actually is....a failure.

BobBarker, you are one up on me since i do not listen to Rush unless i am in the car. i thought your number seemed a little high even from an optimistic standpoint, so i had to look further. speaking of the radio, i wish i could stay up and listen to the coast-to-coast broadcasts. they seem to have some pretty interesting characters on that show. anyway, i do hope you are well and in good health so you do not need to sweat this heathcare debacle that the democrats forced upon all of us.

BobBarker, according to CNBC, the actual number that signed up was 943,000. bringing the total to 4.2 million that have signed up so far. that is about 2 million beneath the goal of the administration. the targeted demographic that would keep this law financially afloat has stayed at an average sign-up rate of only 27%. nearly 20% of the 4.2 million that have signed up have yet to make a single payment as required by the law. the zeal of the sign-up is lost when actually having to pay. it is not surprising to see the number of sign-ups when you consider that the large majority of them are already on a government subsidized medical program. shifting from one taxpayer funded program to another is hardly anything to crow about...but you do. as usual you are a "Chirpee"...i used to think that a chirpee was what you would call a disease if a bird had herpes...but i was wrong.

moderation....yes. it does as long as there is gravity without obstacles to impede its movement. the democrats are learning that sometimes when you think you have gotten rid of your poop...it comes back. gravity is then...not your friend. 8-)

moderation, in a macro sense of the word consumer, everything by law that we are responsible for is traced back to that point. the difference being you as a consumer do not make a direct payment nor was the war declared a law, but your chosen deductable is a payment made exclusively by you and is a law. either way, the question still remains unanswered by your chiming-in-shadow as to how those are expected to pay the deductable when they did not prove to be financacially willing to even have the insurance prior to the law. i am somewhat (not really) stunned as to the association of the recent military excursions (we did not declare war) from both of you when i, as a conservative republican, question the part of the law that causes harm against those that the democrats profess such concern. that part of the law is like harming a woman while you profess to be saving her from her abusive partner.

BobBarker...what is there to consider???...please provide the missing link between your rambling on about the war and the pitfalls of the A.C.A....is it just because you are peeved that the republicnas "WON'T" save the dems behinds and force them to stew in their own steaming pile of poo?

that. the irony that i was getting at, that he seemed to miss, is the law that was created to help the poor and middle-class will financially do the opposite in respect to the deductable. as i said i allowed myself to veer off course and go down a path of lunacy. i have changed direction.

good morning moderation. i hope you already know the answer to your question..but like i said to BobBarker...what does that have to do with the out-of-pocket deductable that those with the mandated health insurance have to pay. is there a provision in the A.C.A. that directs the same sort of financing for the deductables that i and most americans are not aware of? he stated he doesn't know and immediately went off on some tangent that had absolutely nothing to do with the conversation except to dredge up his dislike of the past administration when the discussion, at least in my mind, centered around the topic of healthcare. now if wanted to make the stretch of saying that all of that money was planned to have been borrowed and used for healthcare and not the wars...then fine...make that statement of fact. the problem is...there was zero plan to borrow money to pay for the healthcare law....it is a tax...that's how it was passed. it is not a spending resolution. although it will become
