AND NOW, ""e CAN'T WAIT" for Immigration Reform?

Now that our president has been shown to be willing to Lie, in order to move us, inexorably toward a Single Payer health care sysstem, we will now move on to demonstrate that he also lied about Illegals "not being covered by ObamaCare". All he has to do is make the lot of them legal, potentially creating 25,000,000 new Liberal voters. Your thoughts?

And working all of your life...should?

No, kunec.Using your chop, chop logic, would only hasten the rr, cc, and whipped cream scenario you envision.Again, where on the right is there any real interest in healthcare reform and equality.Wealth shouldn't buy misery for others.

I believe Progressives ultimate health care system would be of the Single Payer variety and ObamaCare is the first major step toward it.

Under such a system, the general public would be provided, for a price, a vanilla flavor medical plan, e.g. simple health care measures and lower cost life-support technologies.

The wealthy quasi-Socialists will get access to the Rocky Road - Chocolate Chip with whipped cream varieties of health care, e.g. state-of-the-art, cutting edge means of like-support AND extension.

Now, our old system was largely that way. But, with ObamaCare, those that have busted their ***es to provide for themselves and their families AND Uncle Sam's till, will be crammed into the same Live and Let Die system as those who've laid on their backsides their entire lives.

ObamaCare needs to meet the chopping block and started over.

And the preceding system picked winners and losers as well, right, beright?

I agree, beright.I understand the concept of universal health care coverage, and my question for kunec was he able to give an example of right wing support for universal health care coverage. It has been a part of the social fabric of many European countries for many decades.Of course, our congressional officials have taken good care of themselves, haven't they?

BeRight

Mod the Obamacare plan picks winner and losers. Some pay a little and some pay a lot more. The healthy people, wealthy or poor, pay.

Universal would mean everyone pays the same.

I would support that.

In any order!

So, you,I guess, support a universal health care plan, kunec? Maybe you would share with us all right wing supported universal health care proposals?

From a chronological standpoint, I'd like you to list the UNIVERSAL health-care reform bills that WERE brought forward by Democrats (HillaryCare HA!). Then along comes ObamaCare, to the exclusion of any interruptions from the Republicans to participate. Let's have a bunch of people wearing lab coats, with stethoscopes slung around their necks, show up on the West Lawn and PRETEND to be doctors displaying support of the President's vast wealth redistribution plan.

That's what you get when you have a fillabuster-proof majority, as you soon will learn anew. Thanks, Mr. Obama!

Which health reform bills weren't brought forward? Oh, that's right , there were none to bring forward.

BeRight

Reid brought the Senate to a stand still. I was shocked that the Keystone issue made it all the way to a actual vote.

I thought maybe Harry forgot how to bring things to the floor for a vote.

None of the house bills from last few years were ever brought up for a vote on the senate floor. So who are the obstructionists?

Posted 514 days ago.

Kunectdots

Well, that's somewhat ambiguous. Care to pare it down to like...the last six years, spanning the time frame Prince Harry Reid has been riding herd FOR Barack Obama and stuffing all those Republican sponsored HR bills into his saddle bags? I'd say THAT'S very "pertinent"!

The span of time that is pertinent, kunec.

moderation - When you suggest, "Humm,kunec- which side of the aisle has been against any reform?" How far back in time (in terms of years) are you able to substantiate your viewpoint?

Posted 515 days ago.

moderation

Humm,kunec- which side of the aisle has been against any reform? That's right, it is the right. And you can improve it by voting them more power?Using your logic, a good left/right balance( just a little more left)in government would keep the booggie man away longer.

(CONT) It's just that the problem will become more exacerbated as more advanced forms of medical science come online. Then, the government will step in, under a system like ObamaCare and say, "No, Joe. That surgery is not for someone like you of the Unwashed Masses, we simply can't afford it.

Goodbye Joe! And Goodbye to that notion of your "right to life", moderation.

mod writes - "Now everyone can be covered.Doncha believe in the 'right to life'? Or does it have conditions?"

Yes, mod, it does (or will) have it's conditions. As more and more Americans are herded onto the governments health system, OBamaCare, the more socialized the practice and advanced treatments of medicine will become. They will become also more expensive as we approach a "fountain of youth" scenario where people will be able to knock around, productively, for a 150 years or more. Now, our planet's natural resources won't support that demand for ever so, it will have to be decided that Mr. Joe Blow has to die of his disease, while Mr. Moneybags gets to be re-plumbed to go on living. Now, you may argue that system is in effect today driven by capitalistic markets and you'd be right. (CONT)

HOT DAM-N! All those infrastructure components that need repaired/replaced and Obummer is spending his efforts on Immigration Reform! Sort of reminds me of his heydays, 2009-2011, when "We CAN'T WAIT for health care reform".

I understand that his Progressive immigration reform proposal WILL create thousands of new taxpayer funded jobs, processing those illegals "coming in from the shadows".

We all know how the Democrats love to add to the tax burden of the working class, but won't those jobs be "temporary", like the ones ohwiseone despises to have the Keystone Pipeline built?

OH, WAIT! The pipeline jobs would be PRIVATELY funded, as opposed to Mom & Pop America paying the Immigration bureaucrats.
