In light of the tragic events in Tucson, Arizona, is it time for many politicos and hot-button radio an tv demagogues to curb their dogma, especially when it contains violence-provoking terms and imagery?

In the wake of the tragic shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and 19 others (6 of whom died) we need to take a long overdue look at some of the hot rhetoric put forth by politicians such as Sharron Angle (who, during her Senatorial campaign suggested using "Second Amendment Solutions") or Sarah Palin (who advised supporters to "lock and load"; she also posted a map with political opponents - including Congresswoman Giffords - indicated by "crosshairs") ... While there are indeed nutcases on the left advocating violence (i.e. lefty anarchists and eco-terrorists), most of today's violence-provoking rhetoric comes from the right (i.e via wild conspiracy theories put out by the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh) ... In the recent past, such rhetoric was incorporated locally in extremist attacks against former Congressman Charlie Wilson (who could blame him for avoiding "town meeting" confrontations with possibly dangerous lunatics?).
