| Latest Post: Started By: Rank: Category Are the Second Amendment "rights" of Americans really being "threatened" - or is this complaint just another gimmick to get the right-wing, reactionary base "fired up" for 2012?Well Bob, if you're not going to do it, I guess I'll have to ... Some of today's "pretend patriots" might want to look at what is happening in Egypt ... A real "revolution" isn't pretty ... Some Americans, however, are claiming that President Obama and his administration are "tyrants", and (in the words of failed Nevada Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle) "Second Amendment Solutions" might be needed ... Is she right? Or is she just "right-wing"? Inquiring minds want to know! Member CommentsMunsterGreek ole boy , check out what your pal bewrite quoted under my last post !!Maybe if you and others of your ilk would quit citing "fox news" and the other propaganda factories we would quit tossing it back in your face ! Posted 115 days ago. moderationNo, beright. I have occasional confusion about many things, but not that. I am hoping you heard/ saw the whole content, and not just a "fox" snippet. Posted 115 days ago. moderationdon't be so obstinate, beright. Handguns are ok with Scalia, .....military level arms are not. I offered the fox piece as a starting point.( you know, soften you up with something you find familiar and acceptable (-:} ) There are other examples of his thoughts out there, that contain well chosen wordings by the man. he leans against military style arms, and will vote that position if it comes before him. Posted 115 days ago. thegreekIt aint Fox news! Any idiot with half a brain can figure it out for themselves. Jeesh. Why does the left keep citing Fox news?? Posted 116 days ago. MunsterTheres the first problem " Fox news" ! Now thats an oxymoron ! Posted 116 days ago. BeRightI saw th einterview. Scalia told Fox News that the Second Amendment “undoubtedly” permits some restrictions on firearms. I specifically noted he did not use the word "banned" in his comments, Posted 116 days ago. BeRightMod, where you confused yesterday when Obama used the word “we” numerous times during his address? Posted 116 days ago. MunsterAll these right-wing whackos are screaming about the same thing Raygun did ! Its hilarious ! Posted 117 days ago. R1KRA8So . . . How are several of the sc justices leaning around this issue and what does Scalia believe?
"5 Absurd Scalia Quotes You Just Won't Believe" by Steve Williams Posted 117 days ago. moderationberight-you do know how several of the sc justices are leaning around this issue...., don't you? Posted 118 days ago. BeRightmoderation: people on both sides of the issue. I favor extensive background checks and a 14 day waiting period after a positive check before a gun purchase. I do not favor limiting which guns a purchaser can buy or own. If that were the case for cars, you could pass a driving test but not be allowed to own a Corvette because they go to fast or an SUV because they casue to much damage when colliding with a smaller car. We picked up one guy and he was shooting hornets nests ! He wasnt invited back ! Posted 118 days ago. scrappileGun Appreciation Day: Lets appreciate the fact that 5 people were not "fatally" shot at gun shows today, only saying this as a precaution to those that want armed teachers and janitors etc., around ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS. We are humans and we crucify perfection.... Posted 119 days ago. CaspiansynnI agree,I dont see the attraction either. However it is another example of the futility of any weapons ban. A person with a will to get a weapon will always find a way. Posted 119 days ago. stickhauler"Single or limited use?" Spending all that cash for a 3-D printer to do something you can do with sheet metal and a welder? I don't see the attraction myself. Posted 119 days ago. Post a Comment |
