| Latest Post: Started By: Rank: Category Are the Second Amendment "rights" of Americans really being "threatened" - or is this complaint just another gimmick to get the right-wing, reactionary base "fired up" for 2012?Well Bob, if you're not going to do it, I guess I'll have to ... Some of today's "pretend patriots" might want to look at what is happening in Egypt ... A real "revolution" isn't pretty ... Some Americans, however, are claiming that President Obama and his administration are "tyrants", and (in the words of failed Nevada Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle) "Second Amendment Solutions" might be needed ... Is she right? Or is she just "right-wing"? Inquiring minds want to know! Member CommentsthegreekMunster you are right about your ignorance being no excuse. Is your home address LaaLaa Land? Posted 30 days ago. MunsterAnd any mark apparently is earned because these kids and their parents should know the rules ! Ignorance is NO EXCUSE !!! Posted 30 days ago. MunsterSchools , "since you obviously have seen one for a long time" have rules and one is no shirts that have pictures or anything else that can be construed as offensive ! LOOK IT UP , MOST SCHOOL SYSTEMS HAVE THE SAME RULES !!! And when using the word "ignorant " I suggest you look in the mirror then look that up as well !! Typical ignorant opinionated putz ! While your at it look that one up too ! Posted 30 days ago. stickhaulerThere were no obscene words on the shirt, unless defending the 2nd amendment is NOW considered obscene! What about the grade school kid who got suspended for nibbling a "Pop Tart" into a shape he thought looked like a mountain, but some prissy teacher "thought" it looked like a gun? Will you ever quit trying to spin the BS stuff obvious liberal idiots are doing that will clearly impact these kids future? Any suspension will be a negative mark on these kids when they start applying to college. Actually arresting a kid for wearing a T-shirt makes sense in your opinion? You clearly are a special kind of stupid! Posted 30 days ago. MunsterWell that doesn't apply to dress codes in schools ! Kids are also not permited towear shirts of bands or obscenities etc, etc ! You can look it up before whining and crying about their rights ! Posted 30 days ago. thegreekWest Virginia Eighth-grader Jared Marcum was suspended by Logan Middle School and briefly jailed for wearing a pro-NRA T-shirt. The T-shirt had picture of a gun, and school officials deemed it a violation of their dress code, which bans profanity, discrimination, or violence on clothing. Jared says the decision violates both his First Amendment right to free speech and his Second Amendment right to bear arms, and his father has vowed to "go to the ends of the earth" to clear his son's name – which could include filing federal or civil lawsuits against the district, a lawyer for the family said. Since he voted against it, he can bring it back for another vote at any time in this Congress (through 31 December 2014). Don't trust them! Posted 31 days ago. thegreekCongress knows that spending more time on it is a waste of time. The NRA and common citizens have spoken and the bill was defeated so leaders will not touch it now cause they wont get reelected !! Posted 31 days ago. R1KRA8Majority of Americans say guns make homes safer by Scott Clement and Peyton Craighill (The Washington Post) Posted 34 days ago. BeRightMandatory background checks are a feel good thing and would not have prevented Newtown. According to the president, that what yesterday’s vote was about, preventing another Newtown. Yesterday’s vote was about gun control. When you have increased mandatory background checks, you have bigger lists of Americans on Gov’t lists. We can’t document illegals but we want to document gun owners. I have a better idea, let’s make a list of people most likely to use guns to kill other people.
