Did Biden say "Millions of Kids Being Shot Down By Assault Weapons" too? If so, I must have missed it. I know that Biden is nauseating stupid but I would rate what Charlie Rangel said with being just slightly north of the product from the intellect of a potted plant.

Charlie Rangel is simply parroting "Crazy Joe" Biden's current rant (or maybe it's the other way around?) None of them make sense, Jesse Jackson recently said you could shoot down airliners with an AR-15. I'm wondering why, if it's that lethal, we buy missles to shoot down airplanes. We could just send out an infantry platoon instead of buying fancy fighter planes, and spending all that money training people to fly them.

Any "Commie bloc" semi-auto firearms available for sale in the US to civilians do not come here as a complete firearm anyway. They come here as parts, and are assembled by the importer, or a company they contract to build them. There ain't no full-auto AK rifles imported for the civilian market.

Why are you so dumb that you can't do minimal research about a subject so you don't come off as a complete moron? Just because you can tell your liberal buddies something and they believe it without verifying you know what you're talking about, don't expect that to work with everyone!

And any AK rifles have to be imported into the US. And importers must have a certain percentage of US made parts/Commie Bloc parts. But they're sold as semi-auto rifles, and the parts to make it a select-fire version are strictly regulated.

M-1 Carbines were made in a full auto version at one point, and some parts of such are legal to own. But, the parts to make it full auto are not available for civilian ownership, unless you happen to legally own a full auto version (M-2 Carbine).

Full-auto firearms were made legal for civilian ownership in 1986, and unless you are a manufacturer of full auto firearms under BATFE license, or are a military or law enforcement agency, you can't own a full auto firearm not REGISTERED with the BATFE. Any built since the cut-off date they put in place back then can't be sold to civilians, no matter where they built at.

Banning the "military stlye assault rifle" is a stupid attempt to "close the barn door after the cows have got out". Everyone that has a gun knows this as does most of congress. That is why the Dems gave up on the Feinstein bill. This aint the same as 1996 when everyone was scared of the gun. It is years older and people have come to like it. If a gang breaks into your house, you can shoot at them ALL. Not just 1 or 2 and reload. They know that the NRA is right on how to stop these senseless murders. What Feinstein sought to ban are rifles that "have the appearance" a military assault rifle has, yet they shoot a single round per pull of the trigger.

A "military assault rifle", made prior to 1986, can be purchased, and owned by civilians. If you apply for a $200.00 tax stamp, go through very intense background checks, get permission from your local head law enforcement agents, and have very deep pockets. The cheapest I've seen cost in excess of $8,000.00.

No moron, they didn't collect all the AR/AK rifles in civilian hands last time! And we've covered that ground, the 1994 AWB "grandfathered" existing rifles, and no restrictions were made on selling or transferring them.

THIS "go-round", anyone who owns an existing rifle of that type could keep it, BUT, when they died, their heirs would automatically be criminals, because they would not be the person the firearm was "registered" to. The day this nation tries to enact a "registration" system will be the day they see a lot of Americans rise up!

You still argue for such a law? You tell us that we'll "get" to keep our .22's, shotguns, and hunting rifles? For how long? Until they decide they're too dangerous? The fact? There is a small minority of gun owners who commit crimes. Where are the laws to restrict THEM?
