You use the example that in the earlier AWB, there were no huge piles of rifles stacked from being confiscated? No, because existing rifles were "grandfathered" in, and they could be re-sold. This time around, a much different plan, yet you were too lazy to even read the bill. But even that didn't stop you from making idiotic claims about it.

The assault weapons ban proposed by Diane F died in Congress today. People like Al Franken did not have the guts to vote for it. When the rubber met the road, the Democrats got cold feet. What a bunch of wimps.

Is there ANY truth to the story that Obama has vowed, if the new Assault Weapons Ban is approved and he gets to sign it into law, to be driven slowly through downtown Dallas at 12:30 PM (CT) on 11-22-13, in an open-top car. Well, if true, I must say that's mighty sporting of him. You might advise Feinstein to add all second-hand, Italian-made, 70 year-old, bolt-action rifles to her list of No-Nos as a precaution. I don't see a listing for it in the Feinstein bill as posted by Tiredofit.

But free, since you assume you're so smart, and you understand so much about both firearms, and Ms. Feinstein's proposed law, I have a question for you.

The Ruger "Mini-14", mounted in a full stock, is legal under her legislation. The very same firearm, mounted in a folding stock, would be banned. How does the folding stock make that firearm more deadly, more dangerous?

So, this will be EXACTLY the same as the AWB in place from 1994 through 2004? Not quite bubba! Because, the 1994 ban didn't bar the selling of rifles made prior to the date the ban went into place.

This one would "allow" people who own one right now to keep it, but you could not sell it (transfer it) to another person, either through selling it while they were alive, or by willing it to anyone, including family members, when you die.

So, essentially, you'd better be able to predict the moment of your death, and get that sucker down to the police station to turn it in before you die. Because, the moment you died, that rifle would be owned (illegally) by your surviving spouse, or controlled by whoever you designated as the executor of your estate.
