Are the Second Amendment "rights" of Americans really being "threatened" - or is this complaint just another gimmick to get the right-wing, reactionary base "fired up" for 2012?

If you are not in danger of me owning an AR 15 as you say Munster, why do you support banning them???? I dont want to ban guns I want to know why you think we have any right to own a gun and what the purpose of that right is... WHY SHOULD WE BE ABLE to own any gun in your opinion> where is that right garunteed and why do we have that right>

A civilian version of an AR, or even an AK semi-auto firearm is NOT an assault rifle. They fire one round per trigger pull. Just like any other semi-auto firearm. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it doesn't make it a beauty queen. You're being as obtuse as you've ever been. Arguing that the cosmetic features of a military rifle to a civilian version does not change the "one pull-one round" standard. You're simply parroting the liberal line, as if using their BS is somehow truth.
