The only difference is an assault rifle has the "evil traits". Black color, pistol grip, maybe a bayonet lug, possibly a folding stock. You have fell into my trap Munster. Mod , I do know some folks who use them as ranch rifles ! They use them to shoot coyotes and varmits etc, and deer that are grazing on crops but you have to gat a special tag for those !
