| Latest Post: Started By: Rank: Category Are the Second Amendment "rights" of Americans really being "threatened" - or is this complaint just another gimmick to get the right-wing, reactionary base "fired up" for 2012?Well Bob, if you're not going to do it, I guess I'll have to ... Some of today's "pretend patriots" might want to look at what is happening in Egypt ... A real "revolution" isn't pretty ... Some Americans, however, are claiming that President Obama and his administration are "tyrants", and (in the words of failed Nevada Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle) "Second Amendment Solutions" might be needed ... Is she right? Or is she just "right-wing"? Inquiring minds want to know! WORKINGSTIFF has evidently met the curb as of sometime this morning. i think the subject of the unions in philly finally culminated in a "report abuse" frenzy with his(?) subsequent removal. Posted 79 days ago. stickhaulerAnd, the 5.45 x 39 mm round is different from the 5.56 round, it has a higher muzzle velocity for one HUGE difference. Just as the 5.7 round, used by the Fort Hood shooter used. Yet, we don't see the firearms using that round on your hero's ban list. Why would that be, that particular round does some really nasty things. Is the reason the firearms using that round aren't "evil black rifles?" One of the criteria used to determine whether a gun is on her list is whether it has a bayonet lug. How many mass killings by bayonet charge have there been in America? How does. "Flash suppressor" make a firearm more dangerous? I'd love for you to admit the real reason they're pushing this. It ain't Newtown, it ain't any mass shooting for that matter. The people who have you duped into thinking they're doing this for safety are lying. They've wanted to ban guns for civilians all their careers. Yet, no law passed by Congress applies to them! Posted 79 days ago. luvthesouthmunster, from your wiki source...:"Some Western authorities believed this bullet was designed to tumble in flesh to increase wounding potential. At the time, it was believed that yawing and cavitation of projectiles was primarily responsible for tissue damage. Martin Fackler conducted a study with an AK-74 assault rifle using live pigs and ballistic gelatin demonstrating that the 5.45×39mm 5N7 round does not reliably fragment or cause unusual amounts of tissue disruption.[6] Most organs and tissue were too flexible to be severely damaged by the temporary cavity effect caused by yaw and cavitation of a projectile." MunsterWell mr ignorant sticky , I guess if you would take the time to read ALL of the posts and LOOK where I tell you maybe you wouldnt come off as an retarded putz !Instead your just a typical republican shi%head drone that thinks he's got it all figured out !Do alittle research and you'll find that its not a "hollow point" ! Its intended to yaw and tumble creating a enlarged wound cavity ! But maybe some of these words are too big for you to understand ! And your just not smart enough to lie !"You can however find the 5.45x39 (russian) on wiki and it briefly explains the russian attempt to copy it " ! Posted 79 days ago. stickhaulerYou can't seem to decide which pile of BS to peddle on 5.56 mm ammo. First, you said the bullet is "unbalanced", and that causes it to "tumble" when it strikes something. THAT was you're argument when you claimed they could strike a body in the leg and come out of it's nose. Then you came up with some magic "air bubble" idea, that made it react as a hollow point bullet. Were that the case, the round would foLlow the same trajectory it had been on, with the tip collapsing and the round forming a "mushroom" shape. Even ammo designed to do that, "hollow point" bullets, don't always do as they're designed to. They often retain their original shape, and simply pass through a body, like "full metal jacket" bullets do. Nobody else has seen any evidence what you're claiming is true. If you saw it on a documentary, there would be written verification on line. OK, you're not an idiot, you're a liar! Posted 79 days ago.
