I have yet to attack anyone here, you, on the other hand, do so on a regular basis. I also never claimed there was an effort to ban shotguns. But, I'm sure that eventually, if given their way, they'll try to ban any firearm.

That is WHY gun owners are standing together. If passing laws against something actually worked, why do we still have a war on drugs?

I hate to tell ya but, according to these polls, the views of me & Munster on gun-control are in the MAJORITY. If anyone deserves the label of "extemist" it is folks like you, the Greek, and Gollum who obfuscate, fib, and viciously attack anyone who dares to suggest ANY kind of oversight regarding the ownership & use of guns in this society!

Contrary to the views of the NRA and paranoid wingnuts like Twiggy, there are NO ongoing efforts to ban double-barreled shotguns - only combat-style weapons with magazines that hold 30-100 rounds of ammo ... I STILL think that if universal background checks based upon mental-stability were instituted, half of those who post their rants here would not be able to purchase firearms because they are uber-paranoid whackjobs who are looking for a gunfight!

And truth be told, IF universal background checks are ever initiated, you'd be the one more liable to be refused a firearm transfer than me.

Delaware prohibits using firearms to protect your property, it allows firearm use only to defend your life. Violating that is a felony in Delaware.

Add to that, there is such a thing as the laws of gravity. What goes up does come down. Shooting into the air is irresponsible.

And, if there really is a threat, shooting off both barrels of a double-barrel shotgun does one thing for you. It leaves you defenseless until you reload.

Of course, she has no worries about any of those little issues, as they are protected by armed guards, 24/7/365.

It's kind of easy to suggest stupid options if you don't really have to depend on your stupidity to protect yourself.
