Are the Second Amendment "rights" of Americans really being "threatened" - or is this complaint just another gimmick to get the right-wing, reactionary base "fired up" for 2012?

Well Bob, if you're not going to do it, I guess I'll have to ... Some of today's "pretend patriots" might want to look at what is happening in Egypt ... A real "revolution" isn't pretty ... Some Americans, however, are claiming that President Obama and his administration are "tyrants", and (in the words of failed Nevada Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle) "Second Amendment Solutions" might be needed ... Is she right? Or is she just "right-wing"? Inquiring minds want to know!

No LTS, I was responding to someone 'I dont know who that said something about 80% !And no they almost never "throw away a part that was cut out unless they just started doing that !

luvthesouth

when you said this.. "No again doofus , I never once said anything about any 80% so wrong again !" were you talking about another 80%?

luvthesouth

Munster Probably with the 80% you might get one set here and another with different parts ! The people that do that work arent always on the same page ! So you might get a barrel on one and no magazine and just the opposite with another ! I know its screwy but I've seen it posted on chat rooms ! munster...you did...i just reposted your comment. you are correct about one point...and that someone else...namely i, originated the 80% with a resposted advertisement description.

That's a lie! If you look around, you'll find pictures on line of demilled military rifles, with the receiver cut in two (with a portion of it thrown away for scrap).

They didn't even fire up "Captain Crunch" to demill military surplus firearms until the Clinton administration. Until then, you could buy surplus M-Garands, M-1 Carbines and 1911 pistols deemed surplus straight from the DCM. They shipped, to your gundealer, in some cases straight to your home, from US Military Arsenals.

But keep telling us how expert you are in all things. You might convince yourself, the rest of us know you're just Freddie's little toady!

No again doofus , I never once said anything about any 80% so wrong again !That was one of you guys !!! And your hardened steel tubing is available hust about anywhere they sell steel ! And in the past there were many demilled "parts kits" that the only missing parts were the magazine ! So still the Know Nothing Expert !!

Which is is idiot? That I constantly post useless "blather", or that I keep quiet? It can't be both!

You THINK you were correct twice. You'd be wrong once again. The specific firearm you mentioned that could "easily be made with steel tubing" required a specific hardness standard steel tubing. Not something you're gonna pick up at ACE Hardware. Think steel suppliers, and they're gonna question what you need it for. And they don't sell it in 1 foot lengths!

You talked about "80%" kits? The receiver cover isn't completed on them, you'd still need to make specific bends in the metal, and drill for rivits and screws/bolts. And they don't come with blueprints or dimensions for the bends, or drill locations. And most I've seen come without a barrel. And, you'd have to get it shipped to a gun shop, and you get it transferred to you by the dealer.

So, don't break that shoulder patting yourself on the back! You're still as ignorant as ever!

Munster - Instead of a discussion of an AK-47 being an AK-47, why do you guys avoid the discussion of 1.7 - 1.8 MILLION rejections by the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, BUT ONLY 44 FOLLOW UP CRIMINAL PROSECUTIONS?

That equates to a .0024 percentage rate of trying to enforce a gun control law we already have. AND you think the creation of a couple of new laws WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE? I gotta a little swampland you might be interested in.

Well, at least my posts here haven't been so bothersome that Art felt a need to "boot" me!

You're heading in that direction again?

Again sticky your memory is faulty ! I said nothing about easily welding anything back together ! What I did say was a "little creative" welding so your point is as usual full-o-crap !Now I suppose your going to want to have this arguement over how an AK-47 isnt an AK-47 !!Just like your little ignorant buddy !! So far it seems that my "pointless blather" is corect on 2 points and your pointless blather is just that !! How typical !

stickhauler

You know Freddie, I could really care less what you think or say. Frankly, you're becoming quite annoying! You little ignorant buddy kept trying to make a idiotic claim that demilled military firearms could "easily" be welded back together. If you didn't encourage his pointless blather so much, maybe he'd think before he posted! Nah, probably not, he's just the result of too many years of union brainwashing!

It appears the zimmerman defense has two more burdens. Time and money. I'll bet the z'man wishes he had a time machine. He probably wishes he could go back to the point in time, when he made the decision to exit his car.

Is that a "Cecil B. DeMILLed" firearm? I think I remember that from "Unconquered"!

Twiggy, your obsession with assault weapons and other firearms matches the fascination that most normal, red-blooded American males have with Beyonce's well-constructed anatomy ... Hmmm!
