These are free enterprise businesses. If you don't want to use them don't. They charge a $15 fee on a $100 dollar loan. If you don't pay it would be about 391% for a year. If you took out a cash advance on a credit card it would over 900% with interest and late fees. If you need a quick loan for a car repair this is agreat place to get it. 90% of these advances are paid on time. People have to make smart choices. I don't see Stickland and company going after the credit card company. Also this will put about 7000 employees on the street. Most of which are part time and will recieve no unemployment. If Citibank sends a credit card applications to me for 29% interest do I now have to check with the state to see if I should accept it?

It is sad that people aren't smart enough to avoid these services. They are traps that people get into and can't get out of. I have heard of people borrowing from one service so they can go pay another. Scandelous
