Beverly-Waterford Bunny Hop Saturday

It’s time to register for the 12th annual Beverly-Waterford Bunny Hop 5K Run/Walk.

The Walk, which features electronic timing, is scheduled Saturday, beginning and ending at Fort Frye High School. Runners start is at 8:30 a.m., with walkers starting at 8:35 a.m. Packet pick-up and Race Day registration begins at 7 a.m. at the high school on event day.

Pre-race day registration was due on or before April 12, either online or by mail. If registering online, go to www.theracedeal.com, where a credit card will be required for payment. If registering by mail, make a check payable – no cash, please – to American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389/5K and mail to Katie Tucker, 78 Anderson Lane, Waterford, Ohio 45786.

When sending in your registration, include the registration form, or a note including your name, address, phone number, whether you will be walking or running, your sex and date of birth, your e-mail address, and the size T-shirt you will need. Children under the age of 18 must have signed parental permission to participate. All registrants by April 12 will receive a T-shirt on race day.

After April 12, registration is $20 and there will be a limited number of T-shirts available on race day. All registrants also receive a ticket for the post-race door prize drawing.

The Bunny Hop benefits the Beverly-Waterford Fire Department, Emergency Medical Team, and American Legion Auxiliary Community Projects.
