Wildcats 8-1 after beating Lancers

WATERFORD — Braden Bellville rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries to lift Waterford past Federal Hocking, 52-8.
Peyten Stephens added a pair of rushing TDs for the Wildcats (8-1) and also tossed an 11-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Harra-Baker.
Teddy Smith added the two-point conversion and also registered two sacks on defense.
Waterford, which closes out the season at Belpre next week, totaled 364 yards of offense.
The Wildcats ran for 310 of those yards, led by Bellville.
Stephens went 3 for 6 through the air for 60 yards. Noah Huffman caught two balls for 49 yards.
Belpre 49, Eastern 20
REEDSVILLE, Ohio — Eastern had a 14-10 lead in the second quarter here Friday night, but visiting Belpre got consecutive 1-yard TD runs by Isaac Tullius before the break and rolled to a 49-20 victory.
Brandon Simoniette hit 13 of 23 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns for the 4-5 Golden Eagles, who play host to Waterford next Friday.
Aside from his two scores, Tullius rushed eight times for 70 yards while Tajzae Reams found paydirt twice and had nine totes for 99 stripes.
Jesse Collins (4-76), Bailey Sprague (2-64) and Logan Adams (6-37) were the top receivers for the Golden Eagles.

WOODSFIELD — Ryan Lafollette and Joey Wise ran all over Frontier Friday night in a 50-8 victory.
Lafollette carried seven times for 132 yards and three touchdowns while Wise added 116 yards and two TDs on 14 totes. Lafollette also completed 4 of 6 passes for 106 yards and and a score to Zac Jones, who caught two passes for 57 yards including a 14-yard touchdown.
Cole McLaughlin had the Seminoles’ (5-4) only other score, rushing for a 2-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
Lane Snyder got Frontier (1-8) on the board with 8:53 left to play on a 28-yard touchdown run. Eric Tidd ran in the two-point conversion.
Tidd had 79 yards on 16 carries for the Cougars while Snyder had 10 rushes for 57 yards and four completions for 59 yards.

DUNCAN FALLS — Morgan was held to 56 total yards in a 52-0 loss to host Philo Friday night.
Isaac Gill rushed for 76 yards, passed for 42 yards and accounted for three total touchdowns for the Electrics.
