¯ On Thursday, a deputy filed charges for violation of a protection order against Edward Franklin Moore, 45, of 1482 Clark Road, Cutler. Moore, while incarcerated in the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence, made contact with the victim of the domestic violence charge which was in violation of a protection order. A warrant was requested for the arrest of Moore through Marietta Municipal Court.

¯ On Friday, a deputy along with the New Matamoras Squad responded to assist an individual who had injected numerous medications.

¯ A deputy along with the Reno, Little Muskingum and Fearing volunteer fire departments responded to Ohio 26 on Friday in reference to a brush fire. No homes or individuals were harmed in the fire, which was quickly extinguished by the fire personnel.

¯ A deputy along with the Dunham and Warren volunteer fire departments responded to the 13000 block of Ohio 7 on Friday to a brush fire. This fire appears to be accidental with approximately three acres being burned.

¯ Michael J. Smith, of 1483 Dutton Hill Road, Macksburg, reported Saturday that his 1975 Chevy truck was stolen from his property and later recovered. This case remains under investigation.

¯ Linda J. Allen, of 1500 Rocky Point Road, Fleming, reported a break-in Saturday at the Western Washington County Food Pantry, 18 High St., Vincent. Items removed included a dolly, extension cords and boards. This case remains under investigation.

¯ A deputy observed a vehicle at the Veto Lake Pavilion after park hours on Sunday. The driver of the vehicle was identified and a case of Busch Light Beer was observed in the rear seat of the vehicle. A smell of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Austin B. Watson, 19, the driver, and Michael Johnson, 18, passenger, both admitted to drinking two beers while parked there. Both Johnson and Watson were placed under arrest for underage consumption and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

¯ Deputies responded to Warren Township on Sunday to a possible domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties this case was determined to be unfounded, however both individuals were advised of disorderly conduct charges if this activity continued.

¯ A deputy was patrolling in the Little Hocking area on Sunday when he observed a vehicle in front of him cross the center line numerous times, as well as having only one brake light. A traffic stop was conducted at Federal and Newbury roads with Howard D. Cook, of 2075 State Route 124, Coolville. In checking Cook through dispatch it was found that his license was expired for failure to reinstate. A citation was issued to Cook.

¯ Stephanie L. Kidd, of 20475 State Route 60, Beverly, for violation of her probation terms; original charge of theft.

¯ Rashanique Lowe, of 1008 Main St., Aliquippa, Pa., for violation of her probation terms; original charge OVI.

¯ Noah D. Orourke, of 1410 Browns Road, Marietta, for violation of his probation terms; original charge OVI.

¯ William J. Witten, of 1 Camolot Drive, Apt. 36, Parkersburg, for violation of his probation terms; original charge OVI.

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

¯ Autumn Roshelle Barnhart, 19, of 1308 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, was arrested Friday for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯ Larry Travis Lang, 37, of 3701 Plum Run Road, Waterford, was arrested Friday for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, driving under suspension and probation violation, all misdemeanors.

¯ Brandon Scott Williams, 26, of 207 Lancaster St., Marietta, was arrested Friday for fictitious plates, a misdemeanor.

¯ Brenda Ann Eddy, 27, of 501 ¢ Third St., Marietta, was arrested Saturday for theft, a misdemeanor.

¯ Brian Michael Douglass, 43, of 3957 Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming, was arrested Saturday for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony, OVI, OVI .08 or more/less .17 and defective exhaust, all misdemeanors.

¯ Jeffrey Brent Hutchinson, 38, of 748 Ruble Ave., Belpre, was arrested Saturday for theft, a misdemeanor.

¯ Christopher Bradley Stumbo, 28, of 274 Ridgewood Drive, Marietta, was arrested Sunday for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

¯ Shawn Seyler McClead, 23, of 814 Elm St., Belpre, was arrested Sunday for OVI, OVI .08 more/less .17, failure to control, hit skip, all misdemeanors.
