Povilas Dambrauskas and Felicia Zartman were united in marriage on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the chapel at Ohio Valley University in Vienna, W.Va., followed by a reception on campus. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jeffery Stevenson.
The bride was accompanied by her grandparents, Anna Marcel de Hermanas and Rhea Bockhorst of Marietta. The bridegroom’s parents, Saulius Dambrauskas and Ingrida Dambrauskiene, traveled from Lithuania to attend the ceremony.
The bride’s friend and teammate from OVU, Imani Ward, was the maid of honor, and the bridegroom’s brother, Rytis Dambrauskas, was the best man. The bride’s aunt, Margie Barba, provided floral arrangements and her uncle, David Barba, and her friend, Brooklyn Ewing, were wedding photographers. Special Lithuanian pastries were provided by friends of the groom, Diana and Evaldas Sinickas.
The bride and groom are graduates of Ohio Valley University, with degrees in business. After a trip to several national parks in the American West, the couple will reside in Lithuania where the bridegroom will be the operational manager of agriculture for the family farming business. The bride will be pursuing a career in art and fashion, hoping to launch her own fashion line.
