O’Neill hosts trip to Longaberger area

The O’Neill Center and Linda Miller will host a trip to the Longaberger Homestead on Dec. 6.

The trip cost is $35 and includes transportation to the Homestead, shopping in Dresden and a stop to see the Cambridge Courthouse light show.

There will be discounts at the Homestead, and at shops in Dresden. The bus ride will include door prizes donated by Linda Miller, Longaberger consultant.

Used book sale

at Barlow Library

A used book sale will be held at the Barlow Library, 45 White Oak Professional Center State Route 339, sponsored by The Friends of the Barlow Library. The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 2. In addition to the book sale, on Dec. 2 there will also be crafters and vendors located at the library for “Barlow Christmas in the Village.”

MHS Class of 1952 meets for lunch

The Marietta High School Class of 1952 will meet at 11 a.m. Nov. 29 for lunch at da Vinci’s. Classmates and friends are welcome.

mincemeat for sale

Barlow Presbyterian Church has homemade mincemeat for sale. Prices are $5 a pint and $10 a quart. Call Pat at 740-678-8022 to make a purchase.

St. Mark’s annual ham loaf, cookie sale

St. Mark’s United Methodist Women’s annual Lucy’s Ham Loaf, Cookie & Candy Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Church Fellowship Hall in Belpre. A one-pound ham loaf is available for $8, with a limit of two per person. Cookies are $5 a pound and candy is $6 per pound. There will be a craft table and selection of new children’s books.
