to hold meeting
The Marietta City School District Board of Education will hold a special board meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday. This virtual meeting will be broadcast on Facebook Live and will discuss building options for the proposed bond issue on the Nov. 3 ballot. No action will be taken at the meeting.
Reno Water, Sewer
to hold board meeting
Reno Water and Sewer District will hold the regularly scheduled board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Reno Water Building, 170 Mount Tom Road. Public welcome. Social distancing will be practiced.
Family, Children
First to hold meeting

Ferncliff Drive to be closed Tuesday
Ferncliff Drive will be closed on the upper end to all traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday each day due to Muskingum Township replacing culverts, weather permitting.
Marietta Recycling Center now open
Marietta Area Recycling Center is now open. New hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Access to the site will be closed off for drop off of recyclables during closed hours. For the COVID-19 protocol and more information, call 740-373-3372 or visit the Facebook page.
Baked steak benefit
to be held Friday
Mary’s House will host a baked steak benefit dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church, 257 East Bell Ave., McConnelsville. Meals will include baked steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade noodles, green beans and a roll. Tickets are $12 per person and social distancing will be observed.
