MARIETTA — The Mid-Ohio Valley Players will present “The Messenger: A Conversation with Edgar Allen Poe” 8 p.m. Oct. 30 and 31 with limited tickets at the Players Theater on Putnam Street in Marietta.

Tickets are $5 each and available only for pre-sale at midohiovalleyplayers.org. Tickets will not be available at the box office the day of the show and only 45 tickets will be sold for each performance.

“The Messenger: A Conversation with Edgar Allen Poe” includes “The Tell Tale Heart,” “The Cask of Amantillado” and “The Fall of the House of Usher” and original dialogue by director Mack McHale. Assistant director is Becca Buck.

This will be the first show in the theater with a live audience since February when such venues in Ohio were closed because of the pandemic.
