Update: Bomb threat cleared, Putnam Street reopened
Chief Deputy Mark Warden of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the clearance of the bomb threat at the Washington County Courthouse.
Putnam Street has reopened to thru-traffic.
The threat remains under investigation with criminal charges likely.

Chief Deputy Mark Warden of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the Washington County Courthouse has been evacuated.
Bomb-sniffing dogs are searching the courthouse after a threat was called in today.
Putnam Street, between Second and Third streets is closed.
